Deadman Wonderland and Elfen Lied

Is it just me, or do these two shows have alot in common?

•Split-personality protagonist/antagonist.
•Lots of gore.
•Instances of nudity. Not complaining tho. Lol
•Lucy/Shiro having history with Kouta/Ganta.
•Lucy/Shiro killing people close to Kouta/Ganta.
•Kouta/Ganta forgetting about Lucy/Shiro.

Any other similarities you guys have seen?

Idk, but I guess I should checkout Elfen Lied coz I love me some DMW

Don't know. I'm on Episode 8 of the anime.

Well, if you see my first post, somewhat similar actually. Lol I suggest checking out Elfen Lied. I like it more than DMW as of now.

Elfenlied is a classic.
It's mandatory to watch it. IMO

The Elfenlied Anime is finished long time ago, I don't know if there was ever a Manga.

The DW Anime is finshied and the Manga went on a maternity break.
A new chap will come out soon, somebody reported.

There are some similiarities between both shows - but I would say this is just a coincidence.

If you look at other Anime/Manga there are simply some topics which are often adressed to:

personality split, finding back your childhood love, killing people you actually love...

And for the nudity... well no explanation needed xd
