Yeah i know this thread should be outdated but by re-reading some mangapages, i found this one and i still find it hard to believe it's Obito who was talking here

Like really? :sy: Kishi changed Tobi's identity at the last minute. I'm sure of it xd
he had to
act in a way that Madara would. what's hard to understand about that?
yea nowadays it seems as though kishi is just pulling random shit out of his ass as he goes along, the way Obito survived wasn't even properly explained...
pretty much the only thing i'll agree with you is the explanation on him surviving the rocks is bs.
yeah some things don't match...even his reason for doing all this isn't good enough..
what would you like it to be then? greed? power? revenge? typical "bad guy" reasons for wanting to do things are lame itself. Obito has more in mind than just than the pursuit of something that gives you nothing. how boring if all villains fight for the same bs. come on now.
His reasons for doing EVERYTHING he did... Are laughable at best.
when i read this i picture a little kid who knows nothing of the world and the way it works, getting upset because the person he wanted Tobi to be was wrong. if you think his reasons for doing anything are laughable then you're as narrow minded as anyone else here saying that villains looking for greed and power make a better "bad guy".
Why did Kakashi saw Obito with Rin and Minato in the afterlife? coz he was originally intended to have died
but who said what Kakashi saw there was really the afterlife? when he finally died, he saw and spoke with his father, who really was dead. he was dying when he got the vision of Minato, Rin. and Obito thinking that he was about to join them. sorry but what you're saying is pure opinion and not enough to call it a fact.
True talk the reason for being a villian is not enough and he barely grief for rin........ Kid obito was very similar to naruto.
like i asked the others. what more do want his reasoning to be? he wants peace, and has seen that there is no other natural way to achieve it except through the manipulation of peoples' minds. he wants to be reunited with
all his friends from the past, not just Rin. he doesn't care about petty, temporary things like wealth and power. that is what makes him a better villain than Orochimaru who's just after power.
