Doesn't everybody with the ability to use it in battle do it. Mabui from the cloud village had a teleportation tech that could tear living bodies to shreads.

If used in battle she could be a unstoppable force by setting up a s/t barrier around her. whoever steps in....ouch.


Genma and the other two guys were Minato's personal guards. He handed down the secrets of the FTG to them. Those three on a team should be able to do some crazy damage by teleporting either high level shinobi or explosives right to the enemies location.

Even an edo ninja wouldn't be able to survive getting turned to shreads if their host body gets disintegrated as well.

The only people able to survive are people with ultra tough bodies, hyper-regeneration, or senju dna. That lowers the number of survivors to Naruto, Obito, Yamato, Tsunade, Kabuto.

1. Mabui's not a Shinobi, she'd probably die by the hands of a skilled Shinobi before she could even begin to think about activating it.

2. Genma and those other guys are nowhere near as good as Minato was with FTG, plus three people standing around in a circle would be enough to draw attention by anyone.

3. Edo bodys can always be revived, as long as the Soul of the Revived Shinobi is in the Afterlife.

The special jounins with the modified FTG are only there for the hokages personal guard and assistance, they need to put the seal from point to point if they need to teleport. which means, they can't actually "teleport" an explosive to a target or teleport anyone at all for that matter into a target.

they would need to put a "seal" on to the target. When someone reaches the rank of hokage, they get "tagged" by the special jounins so they can teleport to the hokage easily. they can also put a seal on anyone else but thats not their duty or practical.

all 3 of them must perform the technique to make it work, then they can teleport to where the seals are located.

not everyone with a senju DNA can do it. Yamato won't live through it.
Anyone with a fast regeneration or tough body can do it.
Naruto and other jinchurikis with a great control of their kyubii has a chance.

Edos can revive, the only way to get rid of them is by immobilising them and then sealing their bodies OR find a way to release their spirit.

For starters Minato died because he was trying to Seal the Kyuubi not defeat him. Since he knew he could seal it away it was worth it. He died saving his son life not from inability to defeat the Kyuubi.
Evidence s/t is op he defeated Obito. We have neverrrrr seen Obito lose a fight besides to the 4th. Yeah yeah yeah he was only 16. Still he defeated 20 ninja from the mist and unlocked ms by that time.
