[Discussion] Naruto and Harry Potter similar?

I am no expert on Naruto, I am no expert on Harry Potter. But I was thinking today, how they are somewhat similar.

Evil guy kills parents.

Kid grows up with no friends, cause everyone resents him.

Kid is supposed to be savior of world.

Evil guy presents himself to kid before anyone else.

Evil guy kills kids godfather.

Evil guy and kid fight.



Now I just wanted to put that out there, that they are a little similar, I will likely get flamed for this thread, but think about it.

To be fair, he did sort of mindrape harry when teaching him to defend against voldemorts mindrape. And they both share the traits of being the bad guys that turned out to be bad for good reasons. and the hair! definately the hair!

There are similarities but I've never seen any sort of real battle between Naruto and Oro plus a Sasuke type character is missing in HP. That's why I'd say only a small amount of smililarities (Oro=Voldemort) but storywise, it's different since Madara is the main bad guy for me still. Maybe even Obito who is Darth Vader, nuff said.

Again, the manga was inspired by many big things.

I'd say obito or pain is voldemort. It was indirectly Obito who killed Narutos parents, It was Nagato who killed narutos godfather. There is a prophecy involved between Nagato and Naruto. Combine both and you have voldemort.
