Guys im not here to debate that itachi is more godly then madara but if they fought. Itachi would win just off madara arrogance . 1.there both uchiha so every uchiha that u seen fight eachother . They had the stair down contest . U can check it but its true. So what im getting at is ,once they do there stair down ,madara will get cought in the greatest genjustu uchiha have .( dont remember the name but its shishu genjustu) 2. If u guys say no.prove me wrong . Cause i just dont SEE IT.

Madara has Perfect Susano which is only can counter with biju's power And he has Rinnagan.....What can Itachi do about those??????
I know Itachi is my Favourite in Naruto anime more than any charactors..But dude4 face the Truth..

Madara is generally as smart as Itachi, but a tad less insightful. A Susano'o fight is heavily debatable, but I think they'd nullify each other. Whilst Itachi has the Imperial Regalia, Madara has a huge Perfect Susano'o of which he can stabilize the chakra. We know the Yata Mirror is impervious to Elemental attacks, physical attacks as strong as Madara's Susano'o might penetrate the Yata mirror. Going by mythology, the real Yata Mirror was destroyable.
