This is true. And even if it wasn't the person he thought it was it was still a person that was alive, even though controlled. I'd say it counts. But it is a little bit odd that there aren't any more deaths on his hands by now.

Now that you point that out, I'm trying to think of people Sasuke killed (since Naruto and him are both parallel). Danzo blew up his own self, Orochimaru had sorta a weird demise, the only thing he sorta slaughtered were Zetsus, Karin survived, he aimed at an missed Sakura. Did he kill anyone?
