Gaara and this chidori/lighting argument -_-

Yes chidori went through gaara sand in part 1 but take mind on the information tht was given at tht point

Gaara never had anybody go through his defense (even lee gates couldn't do it the most he could do was outrun his reg defense and do minimum damage to his sand shield) so when sasuke was gonna attack gaara with chidori gaara (this is his problem underestimating ppl) didn't even guard his ball from it he felt his ball can tank it

When sasuke hit gaara with the chidori his arm got stuck and was about to get his arm broken

He then used his second chidori (he at the time can only use chidori twice a day) to break it out

Yes chidori can get through gaara sand but in actual fight (with gaara rescue sasuke arc and up) would be stupid to do because of the amount of sand he carries and u simply won't be able to get through with just a simple chidori -_- in fact war arc gaara wouldn't even be effected by a simple chidori or rakrai unless it was close range and to get through all tht sand with gaara sand speed levels is difficult as hell not to mention sand sensing and gaara ability to fly


Now the whole lighting argument it isn't gaara's weakness if it was then when gaara caught A when he was doing tht let drop A would've just sunk through gaara's sand witch clearly wasn't the case
Gaara weakness is piercing attacks and oil based techs cuz it breaks up compounds o the sand

No it wouldn't gaara sand doesn't explode so chidori nagashini would do nothing it was only used to defuse deidara bombs witch is doton

Once again if tht was the case A would've sunk through gaara sand -_- A has a more advanced version of nagashini while sasukes is inside A's is outside and can b used as a shield -_-

Edit: also Sasuke didn't use a second chidori to break out of the sand, he just intensified it while the jutsu was still active. He used his second chidori for that day against Gaara in his partial transformation in the forest.

Not with the amount of sand he carries I think not -_- I'm not talkin about beginning of naruto gaara I'm talking about war arc I seem the mother shield it's to big it would tank ransengan despite its piercing power if naruto was to use clones and do a while bunch of giant ransengan then we have something but 1 rasengan won't cut it -_-

When he does tht he's useing a sword and its weaker cuz he's separating the lighting the chidori had hard time getting through in first place tht sword version is weaker so it wouldn't go through expecally if gaara was on defensive summoning mad sand etc

Chidori Nagashi is just a Chidori which has more force behind and he can extend it up to 5 meters....so yes Chidori Nagashi will also go throw Garra's sand.

I did read the thread. A's armor isn't an armor of Lightning, it's an armor of chakra. The chakra sends surges of lightning through his body, giving it strength and power. It's not really the same as Nagashi. Earth period is weak to lightning, and by earth, I mean rocks, stones, cement, dirt and SAND.

Also water/suiton doesn't effect it it was shown in the manga tht it isn't effected by lighting or water when he fused his sand with Mei water and A's lighting and caught madara

I say thier equal until sasuke gets his power up (he's gonna need one to match naruto)

But ok gaara has good chance he can block genjutsu wit 3rd eye we do not know if it gets caught in genjutsu but gaara can move it and hide it so there for he will be safe against genjutstu

Gaara can fly ppl say sasuke can use hawk I agree but u do relize he won't be protected by Susanno and won't be able move freely while in air gaara sand comes from all directions look at his previous fights
Ppl say gaara needed onooki jutsu to get madara out of Susanno but they forget to relize gaara has been fighting since this war started he was tired he's been fighting for days straight madara was fresh and is an edo witch is immortality infinite chakra and stamina
Plus gaara and onooki block to metors right b4 madara started going off

The lighting attacks well seeing as A didnt do anything to gaara's sand when his body was sardounded in lighting he can still touch him so lighting won't save sasuke from gaara's grabs and sand burials / imperial funnerals now as for chidori and the chidori sword does sasuke even carry a sword haven't seen it since kage summit (I might b wrong) and yes it pierced part 1 but remember it was hard as hell for sasuke to pierce it it took long as hell for it to pierce and in the end sasuke had to chidori again just to get his hand out of the sand ball
Gaara's sand is that strong in part 1 stronger when he fought kimmi even stronger when he fought deidara gotten both stronger and faster when he defended and attacked sasuke
And now is faster then ever plus he can fight in air instead of being in sasuke chidori reach
Gaara has proven to be more smarter then sasuke in battle and has way better chakra and stamina then sasuke (sasuke couldn't handle A gaara onooki or Mei or Danzo for the matter) (gaara was able to take out 3 kages edo immortality infinite stamina and chakra and still fighting madara doing all this days straight without no breaks)

Gaara sand manage to block amatsaratsu (check amaterasu data it says it couldn't burn it didn't say Enton or blaze release it says Amaterasu) stop A from attacking
Caught the 3rd raikage (stronger then A) caught muu mizukage and his dad

Survived 5 susannos with legs so those things are faster and stronger then sasuke Susanno and are mobile and let's not forget he defended every kage exception of onooki from mokoton witch is an instant (I repeat instant) Forrest his sand speed is pretty epic not only for himself but for his teamates as well
If sasuke stayes in Susanno he will be buried underground like kimmi just tht sasuke Dnt have bone structure to survive
Gaara can create a desert on his own like he did with kimmi

Currently in my opinion sasuke and gaara is equal this recent manga chapter proved gaara has no problems fighting 5 mobile susannos and protecting Mei from her 5 susannos

My actual facts gaara and sasuke are equal they both have ways to defeat each other both are talented but remember sasuke gets more upgrades then gaara but gaar would still be able to hold his own against sasuke and can win same with sasuke

50/50 in my opinion it can go either way

It hasn't been shown anywhere that the cutting/piercing power is reduced... Gaara would need to put up at least a 5 meter thick sand barrier before Sasuke, who has impressive speed, is able to get close enough to use the jutsu.

And show me where it states gaara's sand is classified as doton ??
Also gaara has wind release witch further proved he has no type of earth release and sand is made out of many things

You are right about the speed but the burning power is the same for both. Enton is just controlling the flames of Ama.
