I understand that I truly feel bad for these people and there familes I really do
both of you say something needs to be done.....I don't think so because if you try to change it things will get worst. A black market will open up and you can bet the murderers will be going there! You know what fûck it let them change the laws! Let them take my gun away I'll be quick to buy one in the black market! And no I'm not a murderer I'll have mine for protection just like I do now.
You can keep telling yourself that. But, the fact remains. That if you were to revolt against your government, you would be totally annihilated. There is absolutely no chance, that the general population of America would win against the Government.
Also, I said nothing about "taking away your right to revolt". I said, that America need to fix or make new gun laws.
Murder is illegal but it still happens. Gun laws won't do diddly shit
Bullshit. Soldiers wouldn't shoot their own people. Idk where you are from but you've got another thing coming if you think our brothers and sisters would fire on us.
Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom all have fairly strict gun laws, and between the 3 of them, there are a total of 85 deaths pre year (average). The combined population of those 3 countries, is roughly 90mil.
America has terrible gun laws, and the death count (from firearm) is 10,000 per year (average). Population is 300mil.
See the difference? Even if we had 300mil people, combined between UK, NZ and AUS the death count would be about 300 per year. That's a difference of 9700. It's obvious that the gun laws, we have here are doing something. IF you can't see this, then I don't know what to say.
Also peeps, I never said anything about taking away your rights to have firearms. What I said was, that the laws need to be changed or new laws need to introduced.

Soldiers can and will shoot their own people if ordered. Some of them may walk out, but I guarantee you it will and has happened. Why don't you go research what happened during hurricane katrina and the rodney king riots.
You look at one tree instead of the whole forest. This is why I cannot take you seriously.
I disagree with you.
Why would they do that ?That's fine, it doesn't erase what happened during hurricane katrina when soldiers fired and killed citizens not to mention they broke into houses and assaulted civilians.

Why do you say that? How was that looking at "One tree instead of the whole forest"? The fact is, that something is wrong with America's gun laws, and until people can accept this, nothing is going to change.
Martial law went into play and they were ordered to shoot people looting food that was going to rot, not to mention they legally could go into houses and in doing so harmed multiple civilians.
You don't consider the multiple scenarios that go into play when someone shoots up a school/mall or whatever it may be. You immediately blame gun laws instead of looking at the whole picture.
Did I ever say, that 'Changing the gun laws, would magically fix the problem'? No I didn't, I said that America needs to change it's gun laws. Now, I know that changing the laws won't magically fix the problem, but it's a step in the right direction.

The only people affected by laws being changed are those who abide by the laws. So it is not and will never be a step in the right direction.
And here's where I disagree again, changing the law won't stop people like that getting there hands on a gun.

It won't stop them getting guns, correct. But, it'll make it harder for them to get their hands on them.
No, if new laws are introduced, banning sales on some guns (Auto, Sub-Auto machine guns). Ultimately it's going to make these type of weapons harder to acquire. I don't see how this would "hurt" law abiding citizens. They would still be able to own there Bolt-actions and pistols. I don't see why, civilians need Auto, Sub-Auto machine guns.
