[Spoilers] Kishimoto and Neji

Kishimoto(and his editors) really ****ed up with Neji.

Neji had the potential to be one of the best characters in Naruto, we rarely see a hyuga in action and Neji was the perfect candidate, he was the first genin in the Konoha 11 group to become a Jonin and a true genius !

Kishi wanted to kill him off in Part 1 (wtf?) in Sasuke retrieval arc but he didn't, only to let him become a USELESS character in part 2 and giving a more useless death, at least let him fight someone tough and important and get him killed , not get killed by a beast like a fodder character!!!!

I am very Disappointed.

Neji was one of my favorite characters. It really was a letdown, usually deaths are drawn out more. It seems like he had the panel drawn and did eenie meenie to see whoh to draw in for the death WTH

You can't really change what has happened, part of me does not like what happened but his death left a legacy for Naruto.

I think the fact he was the one and only Jonin among the K11, it meant that he was the perfect candidate to strengthen Naruto's resolve through his death, with a little help from Hinata of course. His final moment, when he said 'it's because I was called a genius' said it all, man this part in the anime is going to be sad.

audience is everything dude to a writer of any kind.

if a lot of ppl for some reason got dis interested and didn't read the manga much because of neji dying then yes writers do look to their audience because at the end of the day it is about money and sales.

Only problem is that a lot of the manga fans don't care about hyuga or bkyugan so neji dying wont cause a stir. But hinata might(off topic)


Neji also was naruto's first real opponent from konoha, he used neji as a plot device to move naruto the person forward.

Part 2 the focus moved from the Konoha 11, to Sasuke and Naruto. Part 2 is basically focused on Naruto's and Sasuke's development. Hence why everyone else became "useless characters"

The bigger picture is that he died to save two people from a tragic death and sacrificed himself like a hero so that there will still be hope for the allies to actually win the war U_U stop being so simple minded...
