I think minato could handle his student, hiruzen could take gai, and itachi could deal with obito.


Or itachi could take kakashi, minato vs obito, and hiruzen against GAI

i think the old man could take Gai. im not underestimating gai because i think it could go Gai's way too. hiruzen is a balanced character, familiar with all kinds of jutsu's.

team one. kakashi can kamui hiruzen with ease. obito touches guy and kakashi while doing this so that they cant get hurt by amaterasu.
then its 3 on two. morning peacock to daytime tiger as a means of running distractions. if itachi throws up susanno kakashi can use head hunter or obito can phase through it via kamui. then kakashi and obito take minato.

i say team 2 casue i believe hiruzen> guy afterall he was hokage even in his old age and he is very proficent in wielding his adamantine staff and not to mention his higher databook stats.

and itachi> kakashi and minato>obito for obvious reasons

its a team fight. stop singling them out. gai and kakashi's ability to work together is comparable to that of ino,shika,cho and kakashi and obito's abilities compliment each other. Rinnegan. need i say more??

if minato puts his seal on his teammates they they almost cant be hit because he could protect them at anytime in the battle. no matter how i look at it without a strong genjutsu user they can't beat this team mostly becasue of ftg.

imagine minato having the ability to appear at his teammate's general location at any moment during the battle don't you think that would be a problem for anyone attacking hiruzen and itachi?

also the rinnegan doesn't help much since the paths cant be used because edo tensei is restricted and the gedo statue can be countered by minato's contract breaking seal. obito has not shown any of the rinnegan's jutsu except the ability to use bodies as paths, so its safe to assume he can't use the rest of the rinnegan's jutsu like shinra tensei, chibaku tensei etc

i know how ftj works but it wouldn't matter due to hiruzen getting kamui'd off the bat.
even if the seal is on itachi i doubt that minato can teleport into another mass, so i don't see him going underground to stop head hunter or a raikiri from underground. we also don't know if he can teleport to obito's pocket dimension via ftj or if he can get back out if he gets kamui'd(unlikely that he gets kamui'd)
all in all it comes down to minato vs obito and kakashi.
