I think asuma's team had their moment in the war, they did pretty good but kuronai's team was neglected except Hinata she had her moment. The one that i wanted the most from was Neji, Lee, and Sakura. Neji did died like a boss but i felt he should have had more time to shine and Lee should have deffinilety been given more screem time. Sai had his moment so i think he finely developed. Sakura should have been given a more important role in the war, i know she is medical ninja and she saved several people but we know she also has mostrous strenght and she is one of the main character, as a main character she should have had a big role like save some one big, some fights and just something good from. I think kishi should have definitely given her biger role and to all konoha 12's who did not get much develpment in the shippuden after all it could be the arc.

Pretty much all characters were neglected; I don't feel that having one or two useless panels should constitute as otherwise. But I also feel as if it was for the better that those characters were neglected as we know the author is no William Shakespeare when it comes to development, and should said characters have been made to seem more than anything but fodder, we would have ended up with dumb and empty plot effects like Neji's death.

I don't think he's dead just unconscious in that Akatsuki hideout. Anko is the same; somewhere off in no man's land passed out. But at this point in the war, I think it would be too difficult for Kishi to write them in since he's got so much to explain already.
