Could Karui be an Uzumaki?

I'm not saying Karui is one .. xd just saying that we barely know anything about her. and you're right we can keep on speculating.. but it won't help us any further. only red haired person who could be Uzumaki is Sasori IMO thats all...

about the village: I don't know tbh.. if there were like let's say: 25.000 people in the village and there escaped a few thousand... they get children again and again and so on so it's not completely impossible

I don't know - I consider it only a few survivors, but well, we don't know how many people lived in the village and how many escaped so that can be debated on.

About Sasori - the Uzumaki clan was famous for their long life span (for example Mito who lived very long and Kushina who lived through the extraction of Kyuubi thanks to the life force of the clan), but Sasori changed his body to a puppet one to prolong his life. If he indeed was an Uzumaki, he would have the long life span and he would only have to hide in the puppet then to protect his body. Instead he made himself into a puppet so he could live on longer - I consider that as a sign he wasn't an Uzumaki.

I consider it a sign that he ''could be'' an Uzumaki. Turning yourself in a puppet without dieing??? you must have some serious life force for that! Also he has incredible stamina (databooks 5) just the fact that he wanted to be a puppet was a part of his goal, eternal life/beauty and art!

Well, either way, unless it's confirmed, I don't consider Sasori as an Uzumaki - just as someone strong and intelligent. But hey, I could be wrong and he could be an Uzumaki, but personally I would find that very lame. Having all the red haired people be Uzumaki's isn't a sign of much creativity ^^;
