If the planned failed Kakashi was dead. I don't know how you can ignore the fact Kakuzu was about to pull Kakashi's heart out, it was purely luck aka plot that Shikamaru made Hidan use Kakuzu blood to kill his heart.

I re read the chapter and does anybody find it to be a major plot hole or plot no jutsu, that kakashi would take kakazu's blood right after stabbing in the (one heart that kakashi thought he had). I mean for kakashi to have decided to take kakazu's blood for their plan meant that he knew kakazu's ability when he clearly didn't know his ability.

Yes he stated that, but yet he relied on Shikamaru to get his blood and have Hidan kill one of his heart, if that planned failed Kakashi was dead

I re read the chapter and I couldn't find where kakashi stated that he would have used kamui. I know it was stated in the anime but anime isn't canon, only manga is canon so we could only go by what the manga states and not the anime.

when naruto was born, itachi was 14, so when kakashi vs itachi happened, itachi was 24.

What Takos stated is true, are you all forgetting how tactically smart and capable Kakashi is? Deva Path/Asura Path fight he clearly broke down the abilities of both the Paths, and their weaknesses, not only that he could've killed Asura, and he SAVED Choji from being killed. However i am not a Kakashi - fanboy, he has clear mishaps and weaknesses. Kakauzu fight he lost his stamina almost instantly and although it is true Kakashi could've used Kamui on Kakuzu it probably would've resorted to his death. I'd also like to point out the fact that he is NOT an Uchiha, and he somehow managed to master the MS (despite obvious restraints, and limits). To me he is more of an intellectual shinobi, similar to Shikamaru except much elder.
