Now that Orochimaru has been revived, i think that it is entirely possible he will become the last villain in the series once the war is over. His death seemed to be too abrupt when sasuke killed him, I have a feeling he had much more plotting going on than what people believe. Plus he's Orochimaru!! Who knows what crazy justu's or twisted version of edo tensei he possesses. He was the first major villain and i really hope he ends up being the last plus he never seems to freakin die!!

yeah i truley think he will be otherwise it would be super lame if he stuck around this whole time for pretty much nothing and he said he has no interest in the war so hes gonna wait then jump on them when they dont expect it

Coming to think of it orochimaru had not really won any fight he usually stop half way due to some certain damage done on him.

Exactly!! he has never fought at his full potential and has likely never used any of his most powerful jutsu, plus he himself even said that he was far stronger than Jiraiya, and we all know that the Jman was seriously strong. Who knows what he's discovered through his research and what jutsus he still has up his sleeve. For all we know, he could make Madara look like a chuunin.

i think Orochimaru died the way all villians die, by the thing they want the most
Oro<Itatchi in every way i mean, it was proven before he died
Oro soloed the other two sanin (not own then but he held his ground)
but Orochimaru is Sasukes Beat up doll.
i mean now that Sasuke has better eyes, he would be a target and also someone you dont want to get angry.......i mean, oro is Weak against <Amaterasu, sasukes Genjutsu capabilities and so much more.

I think you're greatly underestimating Orochimaru. He was only stated to we weaker than Itachi in early naruto. For all we know he may have acquired many great powers and jutsus during the time skip. The only reason he lost to sasuke was because he was so sick and in need of a new body. We also have never seen Orochimaru fight a full all out battle to the death. Plus he can use edo tensei just as effectively as kabuto and we have no idea what is on his scroll.

Not to be underestimating him or anything, but so far Orochimaru has been constantly pwnt by uchiha.
I'm not exaggerating when i think the likes such as kakashi could defeat him at this moment.

kakashi's improvement has only been second to naruto's and sasuke's since the timeskip plus with kamui he can feasibly defeat anyone, so that's not saying too much. at any rate, oro is like voldemort, i wouldn't be surprised if he takes his regenerative abilities to a whole different level. sort of like agent smith from the matrix

Oro will be the final "Villain" fight of this show. I think Sasuke vs Naruto will not be a true Villian fight.... and when they fight it will be at that same waterfall just due to the plot. Oro took the third to his extremes and I promise you he has more up his sleeve. And everyone is forgetting he still wants the Sharinghan and now there are 3 sets of eyes on the playing field and some of them are Rinnegans.

This is exactly what i believe, however i think that the Sasuke vs Naruto fight will come before the Orochimaru fight because i think that in order for them to beat Orochimaru (im sure Oro will get a massive powerup), Naruto ans Sasuke will need to team up. I think that during the Naruto Sauke fight, Naruto will abuse talk no jutsu and turn Sasuke "good" again.
YES!! I think that the only reason Madara was brought back by Kishi was to add wow factor and prolong the series, i think the only true purpose he played (plot development wise) was to unite the Shinobi villages. Madara was also the most hyped character strength wise before he fully debuted so i think Kishi just thought it was a good idea.
Yea the Naruto vs Sasuke will be more of a hero vs anti'hero fight not hero vs cruel villain
Plus i totally agree that Orochimaru has not shown all of his abilities, it seems that in every fight we saw him in, he dished out new, insanely OP jutsus like the Triple Rashomon and the 8 headed snake, plus almost all of his fight were in a weakened state and he had no intention of killing his opponent.
Don,t you guys get it kishi is not going to have orochimaru as the main villain after the an awsome final battle with madara as the juubis jinchuriki so what your trying to tell me is that after that huge battle orochimaru is going to walk in and become the final villain this whole thread full of orochimaru fanboys face it madara uchiha is the final villain.
Do I want Orochimaru to be the final villain (or at least a major villain again)? Definitely. Here is why:
1) He was the first major villain - would be nice to come full circle.
2) People have invested their time in him - getting to know him, love him or hate him. There needs to be a pay-off to see him either succeed or fall - in dramatic fashion.
3) As far as a villain goes, I still see him as being the best and most creepy ever produced on the show - from the voice, to the snakes, he is perfect. People discuss his lack of power - it is interesting to note that we have not seen Oro fight much at his full potential (without being sick, disabled or interrupted). Therefore, seeing him fight to his potential is a must. Finally for a villain who has spent a lifetime seeking out new techniques - who knows what he has up his sleeve? He is also hailed as being very intelligent - his plotting and scheming will hopefully result in something big.
4) His past death scenes have been disappointing - his weakened fight against Sasuke and the short confrontation with Itachi - both left the viewer wanting more.
With all of the above, I can't help but feel that we must see a 'proper' ending to this character. He is the villain that kept me enthralled throughout Naruto and through the first part of Shippuden.
