Regardless of the identity of this person, or the people that Sasuke is on his way to meet and learn from, we can all pretty much guess that the answers he recieves will lead Sasuke to a new spiritual enlightenment and understanding of the world. Or rather, HIS WORLD.

The real question is to the people of NB......where do you see things going for Sasuke after he learns about the cycle of fate that governs the world?

I personally think that Sasuke will despise the idea of a Curse dictating his life, and he will simply want to break that chain, just so he can control his own life and not the curse of the Elder Son.

no, he won't break the chain of hatred, otherwise their would be no conflict in the story and it would just end right away.

Just by seeking a higher form of knowing, he has already broken it. No conflict? Arent you forgetting Obito and Madara? And the Juubi?!!

No. Whatever Sasuke learns, is going to help him rationalize. He won't be super emotional, screaming everywhere. he will just go back to being part 1 sasuke, going about his business without making too much of a scene. Whatever he learns will confirm his fate/solidify his mindset & the fate of konoha. Sasuke just want to confirm the real history of the uchiha and their relationship with konoha since it's founding. He probably wants to learn his questions, "what is a shinobi, a village, and who am I" ? He will rrive in the war, and help defeat madara as one last goodbye to itachi because that's what itachi wanted to do, help end the war. After that, sasuke will train & get ready to fight naruto. Honestly, I hope sasuke somewhat accomplished his goals, I'm sick & tired to konoha. They should not get off easy after everything they put sasuke through. Everyone shares at least some fault for the way the uchiha coup d'etat was handled.

Everyone does jump to conclusions, but what were they to think? The Kyuubi killed many in the village that night, the pain of their death is not insignificant either. The last known master of the Kyuubi was an Uchiha, people cannot help but jump to conclusions in this case while seeking the answer to 'why?'. The isolation of that clan was wrong, but some type of action had to be taken as a response.

So you still think, being as unbiased as possible, that Sasuke will still be gunning for Konoha?

I think he'll decide to pursue revenge for his own purposes and to destroy the Uchiha clan entirely for having destroyed he and his brother's life. For Sasuke, Itachi is a bigger influence than his clan. He'll view his family as victims of Madara's foolish pride.

Once he kills Naruto (easily) he will go after Madara.

The Uchiha clan has already been destroyed. Naruto can not be killed. But I agree with you on him going after Madara.
