Now they're developing an experiment: in a recipient they put a little portion of this new substance and start to check the way it grows bigger. The experiment lasts for a minute and right at the end, the recipient is completely filled. Now my question is simple:

1- How many seconds have passed when the recipient is half filled?

Tips: there's no importance on the size of the recipient, only in the fact that is filled in a minute time.
And also remember: every second, the new element DOUBLES its size, so....

at 59 sec it would be half because at 60 sec it would double to make it full......people have already answered this. How is it not correct?
