Why Do You Think The 6 Jinchuruki Fell So Easily?

Akatsuki had perfect match ups for jinchurikis.. like ranged against gaara of the sand, immortal and kakuzu with 5hearts against cat lady, six paths of pein annihililated bubble jinchuriki to hell with missiles xd.. and even if jink dont know how to use their power to the max.. they are still ultimately dangerous to face if they just go to rampage what im saying is.. akatsuki had perfect match ups against eveery jinchuriki up to 7.. ( and would been up to all 9 ofc )

They were smart the rolled in two's. 2 s ranks shinobi vs 1 jinjuriki. Normally the 2 s rank shinobi wins

Well that is a good question...all of them were apparantly capable of at least a good ammount of control over their beasts....and it didn't seem like the Jinjuriki and Bijuu hated one another while waiting for Naruto....some of them probably didn't put up a fight because of the hatred they recieved for being Jinjuriki. Also not anything Pain went after didn't have much of a chance of winning....Pain solo'd Konoha.

Also some of them probably had bad match ups like Roshi vs Kisame....Kisame had godly chakra to equal Roshi's, plus he had water to use in order to defend against the lava style.

Fu looked rather young so not a lot of expirience...

Yagura didn't even have his beast when it was captured.

Yugito had to fight Hidan who can't die....Kakuzu has a rediculous ammount of firepower.

Gaara had to fight handicapped as he needed to defend Suna

Anime at least Utakata had to run from Pain in order to keep his friend from harm

Han, according to Narutopedia, has been hinted to have not even put up a fight because he was poorly treated.

I mean when you look at who they individually dealt with....it wasn't much of a fair fight in many cases.
Not to mention how incredibly talented EVERY Akatsuki member was

Just wanted to get you guy's opinions on the matter, This is a thread for the Six Jinchuruuki who were captured and killed by the Akatsuki, Excluding Gaara of course. My question is why do you think they were defeated so easily?

Let me just start by saying i am in no way underrating any member of the Akatsuki, everyone knows they were all extremely powerful & talented Shinobi in their own right, But then again so were the Jinchuruuki, I mean can that really be all there is to it? The Akatsuki were powerful so the Jinchuruki lost, That's it? that just sounds way too simple for me.

Could it be that the Jinchuruki may have been too overconfident in their own powers? Did they perhaps think that that having one of the 9 Tailed Beasts of legend trapped inside them made them somewhat of a God among Shinobi? Maybe causing a massive decline in effectiveness of their technique from lack of training?

Maybe they just didn't care anymore? Being feared as a monster by the very people you grew up with, being shunned away from the Village you spent your entire life in, that would be enough to make anyone want to give in the fight, perhaps by the time the Akatsuki had caught up with them, they were already shells of their former selves, maybe they welcomed death with open arms?

Anyways, i know it's an old topic and all but i myself wasn't a member here during the 'Hunting of the Jinchuruki' part of the Anime came up, I never got anyone's personal ideas as to how this may have gone down and would love to hear them now!

Its the akatsuki, man....the mafia of the NV, equal next to any Kage, rival next to any Jins, it is expected.

none of the fights were shown clearly ...only first part or last part of fight have been shown .. so u cant judge anything from it U_U

as many people already said; they always got outclassed by 2 S-ranked criminals who had techniques who were out of this world..

The Jinchuuriki had no backup at all, being shunned from their villages (with exception of Gaara/Yugito Nii)

and the sixtails had to fight all the pain paths..

it's logical no matter how strong the jinchuuriki they'd loose against 2 Akatsuki members. as a matter I don't even think killerbee could survive against one of the former Akatsuki Tag teams (not counting Taka.. Taka = fodders)

It's like you say. Nobody really came to their aid either and Gaara died to protect the village. Being selfish, he might have won against Deidara.

It was Kishi's intention to show two things: First, the Akatsuki to be huge. Second, every character can be matched up with the right/wrong opponent, no matter how strong. Means a weak character can kill a strong opponent when it's the right matchup (Sakura was bad for Sasori, Shikamaru was bad for Hidan).
