Will madara respect naruto as a worthy opponent like he did with hashirama?

I'm just saying cause naruto could in some way surpass hashirama and naruto could become madara's number 1.

P.S wouldn't it be great if naruto defeated madara by himself and as madara dies/is being sealed madara and naruto thank/praise each other for their battle both respecting each other as true shinobi etc.

Interesting thought. While I think Madara will come to respect Naruto by the end of the fight, I don't think it will be that way. Naruto will EVENTUALLY surpass Hashi but that will take years.

First off, I don't think Madara will suddenly respect Naruto as his rival. He will acknowledge his strength as a shinobi, and his resemblance to Hashi, but nothing more.

Also Madara in edo tensei form must feel pretty pathetic. He knows nobody can compare to him, since he is in edo tensei, so if anyone can keep up with his edo form, he will surely know, the person has surpassed him and hashirama. But so far none has come close..

I don't know about that...

One of my favorite parts in the entire series was when Kisame killed himself.

Dispite how Kisame lived his life, and the deeds he committed.... Guy, Naruto and everyone else @ the scene praised Kisame as a true shinobi.
