You forget that the only Jinchuurikis that tamed(not by force) their Bijuus are Killer B and Naruto. So the Sanbi had no interest in awaking Yagura from the genjutsu since he didn't consider him a friend.

ot: even Bee got caught in a genjutsu. it was only for a few moments. but in a real fight to kill, even a few moments is just enough to dish out a killing blow.
