Let's first consider why Oro told us he wanted sasuke's body. We all know that he clearly states that the sharingan was the prized possession of the Uchiha clan and with it you gain an arsenal of visual capabilities.
Including:
•Genjustu
•Movement Predictions
•Ability to see chakra (colors and ranges of a Justu)
•Ability to copy and mimic others Justus (not including those of KKG or natural body enhancement)
•Ability to break genjustu
-along with other abilities I may not have stated.
With the sharingan Oro would become alot more powerful than he already is, and considering he realized sasuke's sharingan had the potential of Mangeyou on account of his brother, a set of MS eyes would be unbelievably powerful for Oro.
We also know that Sasuke was put into a number of tests during part one, to verify for Oro that Sasuke was a suitable host. This including 1v1 confrontation and the implication of the curse mark. The curse mark was very important in sasuke's growth in power and throughout the story, however to understand the true importance of the curse mark you have to understand it's origins.
-Orochimaru is not a sage, however he learned senjustu at a place called the Ryuuchi Cave. He isn't a sage because he never learned or mastered sage mode while he was there. This didn't have anything to do with Oro being weak but his immortality Justu requires that he takes other hosts bodies. As we all know, not everyone can use or even master sage mode. This leads to where the curse mark came from.. You have to consider that sasuke had senjustu chakra before naruto even knew what sage mode was; remember that all the curse mark is made of is Oro's senjustu chakra. Oro made the curse mark because his hosts bodies weren't able to handle sage mode, and he hoped by experimenting with Jugo's cells and his own senjustu chakra he would find a suitable host to handle not only his senjustu chakra but sage mode. According the the manga only a few select people are able to survive the curse mark without exploding and dying a horrible death. It then can be inferred that the individuals who survive the curse marks have the potential to master sage mode.
With Sasuke's body now he would have the powerful sharingan which has several abilities and maybe even MS as well as the possibility of DSM.
We also know that Oro and Kabuto have done much research into the Uchiha origins, dating back to the So6P. Doing much research and experimentation with Senju DNA and Uchiha Dojustu the learned of Izanagi and even the devolution of the Rinnegan. This came about while Oro was working with Danzo and while working on Madara's body (although Madara apparently unlocked Rinnegan with his EMS prior to Oro messing with his dead body).
To Orochimaru sasuke's body is filled with potential and with it he could be capable of, but not limited to Sharingan, Sage Mode, MS, EMS, and even the Rinnegan.
