What happend to the Senju?

I thought that when hashirama defeated madara the senju and uchiha lived together in konoha together. How did they die out.....I mean they are supposed to have strong life force and what not.

I'm thinking they interbred to form the citizens of Konoha. :shrug: Then they sacrificed themselves for the sake of the village while leaving the 'will of fire' to the rest of the village since they considered that much more important than anything else.

They did not die out.I though you said you read the manga ?


Senju clan disbanded into smaller clans and families, especially since they never had specific traits or techniques like the Uchiha or Hyūga clans with which to easily identify them. Their legacy however, lives on strongly in the hearts of the people of Konoha.
