Jiraiya wins with mid-high difficulty. He has far superior speed and reflexes compared to Kakuzu so avoiding his attacks shouldn't be too difficult. The main problem is doton domu and whether Jiraiya has a powerful enough jutsu to break it.

Jiraiya does have a pretty robust arsenal of ninjutsu so I believe he should manage.

Itachi beats both.

There was a thread where a lot of people thought that Shikamaru and Jiraiya have no haters but it seems like both characters seem to have quite a few.

Jiraiya. Itachi said even two Akatsuki (Him and Kisame) would only turn out in a draw so I don't see the problem with taking on one. Hell, Jiraiya took on Nagato's paths and did pretty well until we found out Nagato was being a *****, and playing hide and seek with the other paths.

I'm inclined to believe that Jiraiya should be able to take this.

Base Naruto, while in my opinion inferior to Kakuzu, was competent enough to fight him off and landed what was essentially the critical blow to take him down. Rasenshuriken may be on a different level than most other Rasengan variants but SM Jiraiya is a much more versatile and dangerous fighter than Base Naruto. He's got a lot more speed, better durability, and packs a lot of power even without a Rasenshuriken. Not to mention Ma and Pa were able to take out some of Pain's large summons, definitely gonna provide a threat along with Jiraiya summoning other boss toads.

Kakuzu's powerful but I think Jiraiya's too much for him. All Kakuzu has that might provide a major threat is the fire+wind combo but nothing else is enough to down Jiraiya.
