That was before Naruto had BM and there was only one Naruto clone there. He would have a way larger chance if he had 10 clones.

Edo nagato is indeed powerful, But BM naruto would be a tough matchup for nagato. First naruto fights worse against an opponent when he has comrads by his side and trying to save him. If it was a 1v1 with BM vs nagato, then naruto takes this due to experience of the rinnegan techs and speed. Plus tijutsu.

Taijutsu? If Naruto gets too close, he's getting sealed, or Shinra Tensei'd. Even if he does get a hit in, his punches are enhanced by Kurama's chakra, and as you can see, Nagato would absorb that chakra. Naruto's BM only lasted for 8 minutes, how long do you think he'll last if his chakra gets drained every time he gets a "hit" in? Even when the hits are ineffective? You can say that Naruto's too fast, but Nagato has extra fields of vision due to the Naraka Path.

would used to say Nagato but Naruto has too much raw power so I give the fight to him. It is true that Preta Path is a huge bother to overcome but while Nagato is busy absorbing a massive barrage of attacks, Naruto uses his super speed to smash Nagato's face.

Well there is shinra tensei to worry about also but I think Naruto should be able to overcome the time limit even if it has been reduced. He can use bunshin feints to do this. Both ninjas have good sensing abilities but Naruto's is better. Gedo Mazou is also a factor but since its best attack was dodged by Hanzo, Naruto shouldn't have much of a problem doing that either. A couple of bijuu damas, or a rasenshuriken barrage should end it.

Those animals are pretty good at fighting against jounin level ninja but they are a joke against Naruto. I don't even think they could hurt Naruto let alone kill him.

The thing is that Naruto can be pretty reckless sometimes but I do believe he is smart enough to form a strategy to overcome Nagato. He wins this more times than not.

that's the thing with rinnegan. It's almost an absolute counter to Naruto and his abilities. Naruto's only alternative is taijutsu in sage mode, and he was bested by deva path pain....Hinata had to save him afterwards.

Um yea, that would make a big difference lol. Lets say 3 charge in, Nagato uses shinra tensei, and Naruto uses the others to come in during the 5 second interval. Denying that his clones would help is just being ignorant.
