Do you think Kakuzu knew Nagato?

Kakuzu seems to be a very knowledgeable ninja most likely because of his huge experience in battle and even in general, fighting Hashirama, knowing Kin-Gin(probably as a team), etc During this war, he was the one holding Nagato(who wasn't able to walk well on his own) and didn't seem to be surprise at all.

Do you think that he knew Nagato smh? Do you think he knew he was the real Akatsuki leader? Since Kakuzu was the one who was taking care of Akatsuki's ressources, it's possible that it's Nagato the one who gave him that post, right?

Hmm interesting thought and it's definitely plausible that he entered Akatsuki since a long time ago since it's said that after his defeat against Hashirama, he left his village for an unknown direction

Anyhow it is an easy possibility....Kakuzu was 91 years old

One thing is why did Kakuzu even join Akatsuki?! Could be that he was informed of a chance to get back st Hashirama/Konoha.....could be he simply found it an easy way to make some quick cash XD
