Looking for a great action packed anime

Looking for something that kinda makes you think outside the box. Something kinda like but not limited to DeathNote and Mirai Nikki although I am open to all suggestions as long as it is action packed and doesn't bore me from the start.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated! :)

One Piece and Fairy Tail......... The two juggernauts right there they are filled with action also if you liked Deathnote you will love D-grayman Trust me i am an action anime junky :)

Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン Shin Seiki Evangerion) is the most successful franchise produced by Gainax. The original season was directed by Hideaki Anno (who wrote a great part of the plot and gave it his personal touch) with 26 episodes and two movies ("Death and Rebirth" and "The end of Evangelion". Both of them have importance to the storyline (actually they're the ending of the series).
When it was released to the market (1995), it received very gud criticism for its innovative designs and plot twists. Its genres includes action, mecha, drama, psychological and seinen.
The first two chapters introduce Ikari Shinji, a 14-year-old teenage boy who's summoned by his father to Tokyo-3. Shiji is puzzled about this, because he was abandoned by his father when he was 8 and they hadn't meet since 3 years ago.
Soon enough he spots a giant monster (an "angel") that cannot be destroyed by normal weapons...

Action packed, hm? Well I have a few anime, lots more manga but I'll restrict it to anime unless you want manga too.

You've already watched Brotherhood it seems, excellent one indeed. Mirai Nikki is great too. As for other suggestions:

- Accel World
- Angel Beats!
- Baccano!
- Buso Renkin
- Code Geass (I see you haven't finished it, I promise you that it gets a lot better. It's not fixated on the action but there's still lots of it and the story is fantastic. Picks up around episode 4 and I gave it a 9 at episode 14. Wasn't till R2 that I gave it a 10 though)
- Darker than Black
- Durarara!!
- Eureka Seven and Eureka Seven AO
- Fate series (Stay night, Unlimited Blade Works, Zero)
- Gurren Lagann
- Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
- Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto
- Sword Art Online

As for similar to Mirai Nikki, Deadman Wonderland is very close. I only read the manga for it though so I don't know how the anime is. Reportedly Higashi no Eden and Btooom! are similar but I haven't seen those. Monster is like a less supernatural more plot-oriented Death Note and Jigoku Shoujo is supposedly similar to Death Note as well.
