Sakura since now that her status as a heroine/main character has been damaged beyond repair, the best thing Kishimoto can do to her is give her a meaningful death. Plus, its pretty obvious shes one of the most, if not the, disliked character in the manga/series, her death would probably get the most reaction out of fans (both positive and negative).

I love the reason behind your answer but i dont see her duing any time soon, she still has stuff to finish with naruto and saskue

I mean, he lost jiraiya, he's pretty much lost tsunade though idk if he knows yet, and if they killed off kakashi, obito would probably go ballistic... Well, more than he already is. Sakura would be the safe bet.

Kiba would have been a good replacement...He is always concerned about his teammates so it would make sense for him to take one for Hinata. Also, he and Naruto are rivals in terms that they always competed. They share the same goal of becomming Hokage. It would have given Naruto the same affect if he had seen Kiba give up the dream of becomming Hokage just so Naruto and Hinata could both live.

Still...I think had it not been Neji it would've been Hiashi. Would have shown just how much Naruto has influenced Hinata to change. The man went from tossing her aside like trash to throwing his life away for her, but Hiashi didn't meet your requirements.
