I hope she does...i mean come on...when was the last time sakura did a damn thing...or when has she ever done a damn thing? The only time she was useful was against sasori and the granny did all the work, its pretty sad when an old lady does more work than you.

Kishimoto has foreshadowed this several times through the series. Go back whenever naruto & sasuke are in conflict and pay attention to her words. This is how I see the ending:

-Of course Naruto vs Sasuke fight
- Naruto finally comes to a conclusion that he will kill Sasuke to free him of his pain & hatred
- Full power Rasengan vs Full power Chidori
- Sakura comes to her own conclusion that the fighting must stop, she cares too much for her teamates. Does't want sasuke to die.
-Sakura believes they will listen & travels to their fight
- This is where Kishi's foreshadowing through the series comes to play
-After the impact that is reminiscent of Madara vs Hashirama's fight. It's beleieved from both naruto and sasuke's view that they died together.
-Suddenly, they both wake up in the hospital, yes the same hospital which is a symbolic place for both naruto and sasuke.
-Naruto asks what happened, and sasuke is dead, but he turns and sees sasuke in another bed and is shocked.
-Kakashi comes in and gives a speech to them both, very emotional speech that will be the best of the entire series. Naruto jokingly asks where's sakura, to greet them.
-That's where the heartbreak comes. Kakashi says she was running too stop them just like all those years ago. She was killed by their violence.
-This will shock and probably make them both cry. This is what Kishimoto wanted to drive home. The seemingly cycle of hatred this time resulted in something very close to them both die. In doing so, it convinces naruto and sasuke to stop fighting. The Senju & Uchiha conflict doesn't have to go on. They can help stop the cycle of hatred starting with them.

I can see her trying to stop them from fighting but I can't imagine her dying. If Sakura dies, than there can never be a Team 7, and therefore, Naruto cannot keep his promise.

Sakura doesn't have to be alive in order for naruto to complete the promise. Naruto has already said that the promise is no longer really to sakura.. He wants to bring sasuke back for his own reasons. Sasuke is his friend, and the promise is also something he made to himself. If naruto brings sasuke back, he did fulfill his promise, she just wouldn't be there to see it.

That would be pretty crazy (at least the Sasuke part).

Actually it would be even crazier if Sakura went to do it, but at the last minute Kakashi threw her out of the way....it would be like how Sakura was trying to stop them on the rooftop, but because everyone is stronger: 1. She got imbetween them. 2. Kakashi managed to get imbetween them pre-last second, but had to move Sakura. 3. Naruto and Sasuke's power is too much for Kakashi to stop.

Then we'd see his face o_O...or what was left of it... :'(

Only way I would have seen her dying in this war would have been because Obito saw Rin in her, or she died to save Hinata (because she knew she loved Naruto)....BUT now Obito sees Naruto and Hinata hand in hand as well as the fact Naruto is ready to save Hinata (who also doesn't look like she needs nearly as much saving as she used to).

So this fight would be the only time she would most likely die...

If Sakura had to die, this is the way I feel like it should happen. I feel like it would be a very redeeming moment for her. A lot of NaruHina/Sakura-haters may stop hating her, and she would go out a hero.

If she had to die I think this would be the best way also

I can't see people making "YEs!!! Sakura is dead!!!" threads if this happened. Anyone disagree with the bolded part?

I do. You would probably see a page full of those threads if that happens.

There probably would be those threads even if Sakura sacrificed herself for Hinata/NaruHina. However, I do believe that there would also be plenty of people that would have a newfound respect and/or appreciation for her character.

I can't really see Sakura dying, but if she did, Kishimoto better make her go out as hero. So many people bash/hate her. I would prefer her to die with positive (maybe unexpected) actions to prove the haters wrong! I just really don't want her to die for Sasuke. It would be way too predictable, and she would gain no respect.

*next chapter comes out*

*she didn't really die*

*EPIC WIN*
