Monkey King: Hiruzen's personal summoning. exceptional taijutsu as he was able to protect the 3rd against the 1st and 2nd hokages.
Toads: Toads possess a wide range of abilities, being able to spit water or oil from their mouths as well as utilising things ranging from their own tongues and weapons in battle. What is most unusual is that they are one of the few species able to do ninjutsu, and one of the few animals thus far capable of hand signs. Toads are also familiar with senjutsu, making them (along with their contractor) very powerful when invoked on the battlefield.
Slugs: Slugs' offensive abilities involves shooting acid from their mouths, similar to the way toads use oil. For defending others, the slugs have the ability to encapsulate themselves around an individual's entire body. This essentially makes them a big cushion for the person inside, protecting the person from physical collisions. Slugs have also been shown to be able to divide themselves into many smaller replicas, though this ability may be unique to Katsuyu due to its size. Katsuyu can also absorb chakra from its summoner and even control it to some extent, as shown when Tsunade transferred her own chakra to Katsuyu in order to heal the citizens of Konoha when Pain attacked.
Snakes: The snakes vary greatly in size, body mass and species, from small enough to hide in one's sleeves to larger than buildings, and thin enough to be used to tie someone's hands to strong enough to choke a colossal animal like the Island Turtle. Although common snakes cannot speak human language like toads, some of their summoners could communicate with them. They are able to detect live beings by their heat and smell in order to track and lead their summoners to their prey.
Salamander: Ibuse is able to release a Poison Mist from its mouth, which is capable of making the entirety of a victim's body numb just moments after inhalation and may eventually prove fatal, although these effects can be counteracted with the correct antidote. The poison must first be generated and then stored for a total of five minutes within Ibuse's body before it can be expelled again. Ibuse is capable of concealing itself and navigating underground. It can then resurface beneath Hanzō's enemies and swallow them, trapping them in its mouth until they have succumbed to the fatal effects of the poison.
Crows: are the characteristic summon of Itachi Uchiha. At some point in time, Itachi made a contract with crows which allows him to summon them as he wishes. He mainly used them combined with his genjutsu as well as ninjutsu while fighting — often de-materialising into a flock of crows or summoning them from underneath his cloak to blind his target. He also used a variation of the Clone Technique called the Crow Clone Technique where he used his crows as a medium to create a copy of himself which, when hit, dispersed back into crows.
Dogs: are essentially dogs that have heightened senses and abilities and as such are able to work with ninja. Although the dogs belonging to the members of the Inuzuka clan are ninken, the phrase is usually used in reference to the pack of eight ninken summoned by Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi's ninken have shown the ability to use human language, walking on water, capacity of developing combat strategies and investigative sense as well. They are supposed to be quite dangerous in combat, as Kakashi notes that they can tear their opponents apart on his command.
Clam: Cast Mirages and great defense.
Sharks: Suck and eat chakra and the perfect with the tech water prison.
Tortoises: Stepping stones

Gedo Mazo without the tailed beasts.
So what do you think is the strongest summoning?
