Minato.... short-range or long-range fighter????

So, Kishi stated that Minato was a great ninja, but not the strongest of course. Also Minato is a very fast dude who kills everyone in one flash like killing ****ING damn people who trying to underestimate his power. Wtf I don't know Minato is a long or short range fighter, but I think it just depends on which battle techs hes using. Minato sometimes using his base speed from a short distance and attacking or something like that, and ftg tech for long distance, but however as my opinion I think Minato is a long and short range type shinobi.

So what do u guys think about him ??????? xd

Automatically makes him a short - mid range fighter as he can cover all of that range in an instant.

I wouldn't call him a long range fighter, that would be like deidara and killer bee in tailed beast mode (as he can used his tailed beast bombs etc.. his brother even made him train to fight and protect the village from afar)

But remember if Minato throws a kunai from a long distance against Deidara, its a long-range attacks. But I think you're right he can teleport everywhere with an instant, so it just depends which target his facing after all.

That was not close range at all that was far range.

well, there is a lot of different meaning. Long range fighters means that the fighter fights from long range. The physical body is far away but his attacks can reach distance thus long range fighters can be far away from his opponents.

But minato is a special kind of a fighter, his physical reach depends on the markings. He can be in many points whether it's long or short. To land hits, he does need to be close range. His rasengan can move with him through teleport. For example, let's say minato throws a meaningless kunai at average speed to deidara, since deidara is cocky he will just dodge the kunai but just split seconds, right as deidara is dodging the kunai, he sees minato throwing another kunai at him with a rasengan at his other hand. At which point deidara is at shocked, this second kunai is now close enough for minato make contact with deidara with his rasengan and at the same time mark him just in case deidara is a clone or survives.

It's true it all depends on how far he throws it and if say he has marked his opponent. But Generally he can't scatter all of his kunai far range like he did against A and bee. When he does the kunai scatter it is close - mid range, but it's true situations can come up where he can do long range attacks (teleporting long range mainly)

there is no limit as to how many times he can teleport to his kunais. one scenario, he can go as long as he wants to go by throwing kunais in a succession (one after the other one). He throws a kunai as high as he cans then teleports to that kunai and from that point he can throw another kunai as high as possible he teleports to that point again. then he can throw another kunai and teleports to that point again. so on

same like naruto did with kagebushin while fight Pa (sage frog trainer). Naruto used a succession of kagebushins to get to Pa.

I guess you can consider him long range, for his FTG teleportations. But that's needed for him to be as close as possible to his targets.
It's not as if he has a technique which can cause major damage from a distance, which he normally would use. Instead, he uses FTG to get CLOSER.

His only attacks work at short range. Yes FTG can send him anywhere, but he uses it to get close to the enemy. He is a short range fighter.

Minato as far as we have seen, is a close ranger fighter ah he likes to get close and personal with his rasengan. However, we've yet to see any other abilities that would indicate that he is a mid-long rang fighter, although that doesn't mean to say that Kish doesn't plan on showing us them, or has originally set to give him other techniques, that work at med-long range.

Never the less, as long as we haven't seen any other abilities, as far as i'm considered they don't exist.

Minato can be safely classed as a top class short range fighter, the only long range attack we've seen from him is his s/t barrier which can deflect projectiles. Rasengan is a short range but extremely effective jutsu that goes nicely with ftg
