while watching the anime in part 1, naruto was weak compared to sasuke and cant even scratch kakashi in a fight. so that being said, how does kakashi see naruto right now in the manga as Naruto can kill kakashi with ease (Not bashing on kakashi). Do you think he views him as his kid because naruto's father was kakashi's sensei and minato died protecting naruto? Is kakashi afraid of naruto if they fought in a death match?

After Naruto learns Rasenshuriken, Kakashi admitted to himself that Naruto has already surpassed him.

Afraid ? No. Kakashi wouldn't even think about fighting Naruto, not because of the power differences they both have but because Kakashi learned to like or love Naruto. ( not in a gay matter. )

I don't think <3Kakashi<3 fears Naruto. He respects him greatly because he knows how much Naruto has grown not only in power but in maturity level as well. If they should fight for some weird reason <3Kakashi<3 would know that he has the bigger chance of losing but that doesn't mean he's afraid.
He might have viewed Naruto as his kid in part 1 but now probably sees him as an equal.
