Why didn't Obito take Itachi's eyes?

some people are not understanding. He awakened MS in both sockets(the eye implanted in Kakashi was awakened cause Obito) so he had 2 MS eye sockets which is the requirment because if it wasn't taking your eyes out for to put someone elses to get ems wouldn't work.

He simply judged that his kamui was a greater jutsu than Itachi's MS techniques, better for him and his fighting style. He doesn't need EMS since his MS can't go blind probably because of Senju DNA

But obito was afraid of him he even said tht if he didn't keep some secrets from itachi he would've been dead by now....
Obito intangibility only lasts for 5 min at a time I'm sure itachi could find a way around tht

IDK it does say that but has anyone ever tried it with non sibiling's eyes? things have been said that was not true before.

I never said he would get Itachi's power but he would get Susanoo an ect do to having two eyes.

and for the one that say he needtwo MS eye rememer when he awakened MS Kakashi's did too so Obitos eye sockets is connected with his eye's even if they are out.

I'm just saying this could have been possible.

How did Obito implanted Rinnengan into himself? And the fact that Itachi, Danzo or even a crow are able to use Shisui's KA just by having his eyes proves that having the eye is all what is needed to cast techniques, so if he had take Itachi's eyes, there is no reason why he would not have been able to use his techniques

Well tht is true well then I go with wat the other guy said he needed to ms eyes in first place thts prob why he wanted shishui eye from danzo
