Idk bout you but to me it look like more than just zangetsu an renji sword..looks like there were a lot of eyes in the dark.

Kubo never said Renji will get a "new" Bankai. He said Renji will further master his Bankai which in itself will give it a different appearance. It doesn't mean it'll be a new one.
