The war has taken its toll since beginning, the plot has surfaced little by little into reality. We can see how now the original plan of Madara creating the Infinite Tsukoyomi is failing. Madara will soon to know that Obito will not use his Rinne Tensei as it would absolutely a suicidal attempt. So now, both realise they just using the Juubi which will eventually out of control just to killed the alliance shinobi.

The question lies here, IF they managed to kill everyone (assuming Sasuke n Co) what else they could do? Obito obviously didnt want to sacrifice himself and Madara is just like a brainy zombie up there? So, what else? I'd say their original plan is completely void and non relevant now and they have to came up with other strategy.

They have to manifest the power of the Juubi first to reflect the massive MS to the moon, but now both of them having much trouble controlling the Juubi if Obito didnt revive Madara to be the Juubi host.

Obito doesn't want to revive Madara becaudse he belives Madara just wants power, so he doesn't want to take a risk.

Madara is simply testing his patience with Obito. Soon enough, he would use Genjutsu on Obito, forcing him to revive him. Madara is just waiting to see if Obito will stay with him or he will leave him. And in the last chapter (615) it is becoming more apparent as Madara saw Obito was curious of Naruto and his answers to his questions.

The plan is already fail, because the moon would only stay in the sky for 12 hours a day, so once the moon reflecting the genjutsu is gone and morning is up, all the people will be out of genjutsu, questioning what happened last night lol.

lol, actually they just need the head start to generate the Infinite Tsuko first, and after that, its the other story.
