I was reading up some of Yagura's history and found something I did not notice prior disturbing facts about his history.Take special note to what is bolded.

During his reign as Mizukage, the village was known as the "Village of the Bloody Mist" (血霧の里, Chigiri no Sato). This was exemplified by the barbaric ritual where Academy students would be forced to kill each other in order to graduate. The practice was discontinued when an entire graduating class of students was massacred by a young Zabuza Momochi.[2] It is also likely that Yagura was the Mizukage whom Zabuza tried to assassinate when he revolted.[3]

Yagura was known to dispose of Kiri-nin who were suspected of being disloyal to the village immediately (commending and taking Kisame Hoshigaki as his direct subordinate after assassinating Fuguki Suikazan, a traitorous member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist).[4] Despite his tyrannical reign, the people of Kiri feared that Yagura was being manipulated,[5] a fear which was confirmed by Ao, who saw through genjutsu with the Byakugan he later acquired,[6] later identified by Kisame as Tobi's doing.[7] However, it should be noted that before Tobi took control of Yagura, the village was already reputed as the "Bloody Mist".[8]

So even prior to being manipulated by Obito; Yagura had was in charge when the mist Village adapted the nick name "Village of the Bloody Mist" with such twisted way's of strengthening there younger Generation having children kill of there own class mates!!

How can we not call Yagura a villain after these actions!?

Also the chance that it could have been Yagura that Zabuza tried to kill makes my brain think...
What if Yagura was such a Tyrant Zabuza wanted to save his village, the children of his village from having to go through such a cruel teaching, to have the Village to no longer be known as the "Village of the Bloody Mist" he decided to defect for to the Coup d'état knowing he would be rendered a traitor?

If you look at things this way Zabuza looks like a real hero,

But what do you all think??

Yagura is not a villain rather a victim of a villain.

These days, all you need to do is make a big block of text, and you get a hot thread.

and to answer question, no he isn't a villian , because he was under someone else's control.

But what about the fact that Yagura had such barbaric graduation ceremony's which where around even before Obito took control of him?

Yagura doesn't strike me as a villain. He seems like a child. I think some sort of higher-up, such as a Kiri Elder, was manipulating Yagura before Obito out-right controlled Yagura. Like a much more evil Danzo.

It was said that yagura was an adult male on Narupidia:)shrug: which surprises me quiet abit),
That is defiantly a possibility, It kills me that we do not have enough information on this guy he could have a very interesting backstory grinding my teeth bro.

It could have been the bijuu influencing Yaguura

Danzo said he might have been a perfect Jinchurikki. I guess he wasn't perfect.

Isn't Isobu just a mindless animal? I don't think he would have that kind of mental power.

No all bijuu have minds, it was just mindless due to not having a host for some odd reason.

You have a point,
then again maybe Obito just offered Yagura a lolipop O-O

The tailed beasts when sperate seem intelligent(seen when Naruto met the jinjuriki and bijuu in his mind), its just when they are fused into the Juubi they became mindless.

well who knows, there must have been a special circumstance with the Sanbi since it was separated from the host while assuming that Obito controlled Yagura. Why didn't Obito even seal the Sanbi when he had control or separate them in the first place?

Separating the bijuu kills the host and Bee said jinchuriki hosts can break away from genjutsu....so....idk

hmm, perhaps Yagura or someone else un-sealed Yagura's Bijuu so he would not be caught by Akatsuki?

Which would explain how Obito was able to control Yagura perhaps to gain some power from the mist?

But then how was Yagura living w/o his Bijuu...
