However nothing stays the same, by midnight the kid that Genji befriended suddenly died saying that his "big brother" told him that the life span of their clan is nothing but a mere day long…
Genji was troubled as he rushed to the boy: "Kid! Kid!" he shouted trying to wake him up but it was futile…
Suddenly his memory started to remember something he learned from Julius when he tried to make him join his side: "Well here goes nothing" he said to himself putting his palm over the sprout he implanted on the boy's chest…
It was a miracle by all means! the kid was revived, he opened his eyes slowly saying: "Mister…Genji…what happened?..."…
Genji couldn't hold himself as he cried: "It's ok kid, I'm here to save you"…
The kid wondered: "But how can I be alive? Big brother said that we are supposed to live only for a day…"
Genji answered naively: "I can revive plants that's why…here take rest I'll have to talk with your brother…"…
"But he's not…" the kid tried to hold Genji…
But the tree boy ignored him and started running toward the large tree were the big brother resides….
In his way he noticed something wierd; the corpse of his kind were glowing in golden briefly before streams of magia were coming out of them heading toward the big brother house…
"I have to hurry up, something bad is happening" said to himself then he closed his eyes to focus: "I got to remember…Julius' flight technique, gather wind magia around your body, make it lighter, then condense it under your feet" and as he instructed himself he was able to copy the flight spell perfectly, soaring in the sky he gained more speed as he headed directly to his target…
The kid saw Genji flying felt some sort of happiness as he closed his eyes saying: "Oh God please be with mister Genji"…
Entering the residence, Genji felt something nostalgic, the house that's nothing but a large hollowed tree, was designed strangely the walls, the pillars, and even the floor had spiral patterns covering them, grass and flowers were grown in a fabelous way, the stairs were natural extension of the walls, simply something he dreamed once to be his house…
But he cleared his mind remembering the reason that brought him here, he searched everywhere, until his feet brought him to the highest floor were he saw something interesting…
The streams of golden magia that the corpses released earlier were gathering in a giant orb connected to the ground with soem sort of roots: "So this is it" he told himself…
He apprached the sphere to examine it but suddenly a knife interrupted him, he avoided it and retreat few steps back: "Who's there?" he asked...
A giggling soft voice echoed in the place: "It's me the big brother"…
Genji felt that the voice was familiar: "Show yourself! I'm here to talk to you!"…
The voice answered: "Oh I always was a man of talking myself…very well" a portal appeared in front of Genji and a shorter man emerged he was cloaked with a dark read cloak, his face was rather wierd, the left side was covered in a purple wood mask, leaving the right side revealed, a young man's face, pale with purplish narrow eyes, and green hair it was…
Genji recognized the man who waved his hand saying: "Hi Genji… mister Nabri is here!" with a sarcastic accent…
"You are… a scion!" Genji said, then he added: "What have you done to the people of the village?"…
Nabri simply put his hand on the orb and commented: "It's their life cycle…they live for one day, then they die for me…"
Genji felt frustrated: "You killed them!"…
The masked man answered: "Not like that! They meant to live that way…" and so Nabri put his palm on the ground and a clone of Genji emerged: "I can create as much as I want from those guys…"…
"You are a mad man!" Genji interrupted in anger…
Nabri ignored him and continued: "As you can see they live for a day to gather enough magia for me, then when the midnight comes they die leaving their stock for their creator, A K A me…brilliant isn't it?"…
Genji couldn't hold himself and by remembering the good time he passed with his kid self his anger gone more than usual as he punched Nabri to push him back: "But why is all this madness?!" he asked…
Nabri stood up like it was nothing, wiped his mouth saying: "To be myself…this is my truth, my fate is to be the only surviving being, by the end of time there will be no creature…but me!"…
Genji stood silently, then he broke his silence by slamming his palms to the ground summoning two giant roots that headed directly toward the sphere breaking it apart, freeing the magia contained in it under the form of golden dust…
Nabri witnessed the latter's action and commented: "Aw you spoiled my midnight snack now…anyway I think I'll eat it anyway" said the masked man while opening his mouth draining all the golden cloud…
Genji was surprised: "What the…you were able to absorb such free magia…what kind of creatures are you?!"…
Nabri wiped his mouth and smirked: "Well they used to call me a demon in my village of birth…"…
"You can't be…!" the tree boy discovered something….
The masked man revealed the covered half of his face, it was something rather disturbing, his face's left side was identical to Genji's face, as the man removed his clothing to reveal that his body is that of Genji only the right arm wasn't, simply a hybrid between a human and Genji…
Genji stood in shock: "You are like me! A Genji creature like me!"…
Nabri corrected: "No I'm not like you, I'm better, I didn't leave my fate as the worlds devourer, I believe that I'm the perfect creature, the one who shall survive to witness the end of time! However as you can see I'm not complete now"…
"Not coplete?" Genji asked…
"And guess who's the missing piece?" Nabri asked with a grin as he summoned his magical staff; a long purple wooden rod that ends with what appears to be and inverted 3…
Genji commanded his roots to attack his enemy, but the latter had some agility to avoid those attacks, he waved his staff and a portal opened above him, from it a chain was thrusted and piercing the wood, that dried out enigmatically…
"What the…my wood!" Genji said in surprise…
Nabri laughed: "Gotcha didn't I? it was forged from the Karium, the main metal that compose the core of the deity world, it grants it resistance to any disturbance that might happen in the flow of space and time, by conclusion it's deadly for our wood…brilliant isn't it?"…
Genji retread few steps: "Futile!" Nabri mocked him as more portals opened above him and different weapons emerged toward him, unluckily our hero was hit by a blade: "Damn! I feel numb!" said Genji…
Nabri laughed even more insulting his prey: "Aw c'mon, it was just a small cut! You aren't even half the strength that Julius warned me from…disappointment!"…
Genji pulled himself togather and summoned even larger trees to attack Nabri who reacted quickly summoning a rain of spears as a counter: "As expected!" Genji marked, instantly he spawned a branch to enter one of the portals, the branch started to grow inside the sub dimension of his enemy disturbing the flow of space and time inside it…
Nabri felt the move Genji did as he complimented him: "Oh you are full of surprises!" and floated high raising his rod: "I still have more tricks!", over the tip of the staff a golden glow was formed as a sign of magia gathered in it, then he released it as some sort of a ray: "Witness star of judgement!"…
The beam headed straightly toward Genji but the latter countered it using a branching root that absorbed it: "impossible he's not just able to absorb magia in its raw form but he can manipulate it as well…he has deity level manipulation!"…
"Not bad you were able to block one star…but what'll you do against two!?" Nabri said while two "stars" were formed he pointed his weapon releasing even more powerful beam…
Genji slammed his hands in the ground summoning continuous walls of wood, this time they weren't match for the attack but Genji acted fast bending one of his walls to hit the beam straightly from the side causing it to refract away…
Genji fell on his knee, he was exhausted because he couldn't make more magia due to his incompatibilty with this world, he gazed to Nabri who figured it out saying: "Oh! Feeling tired Genji? and what's this?...it seems that the disturbance you cause in my pocket dimension had gone which means" the man snapped with his fingers, and so many chains captured Genji in addition to a large shuriken star that pinned his arm to the wall…
Feeling numb Genji to loose his vision everything was going blurry, Nabri used this moment: "This shall bey our last stand, you shall perish in front of the four stars of judgement!" he said while creating four glowing orbs behind him, and with a move from his staff their beams merged togather heading toward Genji who had nothing but to close his eyes waiting for his defeat…
But surprisingly the attack stopped, the injured boy opened his eyes slowly to see something horrible…

Genji: the logical-speaking guy, he doesn't -like everybody else- what tribe he's, he got expelled from his village because of his appearence and ability to suck people energy and ability to control trees, he joined this journey to find out more about himself.
Eduna:a mysterious priestess she seems to know as much as Julius does, she joined the rebellion war against the tyrant.
Rose: the french speaking Fairy, she's more pervert than Gary she joined the group for fun, she has the power to charm any male, she has sensorial abilities, and wide magical abilities.
Ignius: a man who've been cursed by Julius into a hideous dragon-man he seeks to avenge from Julius, with his brute raw strentgh and perfect fire element use.
Zhein: Gary's friend and adoptive brother who've been kidnapped but saved by the Tyrant' chancellor, he now on the good side, he's a hand to hand fighter, with wide knowledge over magic seals.
Julius: the Tyrant Chancellor, he's a mysterious man, with mysterious motives, his powers are unique, he tries to bring peace without looking at the cost, he is revealed to be an ancient deity that wants to bring all world to nothingness.
