I just had a thought about Orochimaru

Orochimaru was never able to form hand seals after the sealing of his arms by the Third Hokage, Hiruzen was right in saying that Oro will never perform another hand seal again, he has been using summoning, taijutsu afterwards and no Triple Rashomon did not require hand seals. That's why his obsession with obtaining the sharingan intensified because he wanted its powers which doesnt require hand seals.

Nowhere in the manga did it even hint oro went after his body,,, infact the databook said it was AFTER his total defeat against itachi, he saw the uchiha has his dream vessel..

If he did try the ritual and itachi countered with genjutsu he would have been absorbed into itachi like sasuke.. there was no ritual, he just got owned at the start of a fight like deidara,

look at his feet,he was stepping up to itachi in the manga before he got the paralysis genjutsu

I stated my opinion about the fight in the Original post. I doubt this would have ended Oro this wasn't a fight to the death if it was omg it would've been epic. Some people forget it was Oro who first showed us edo tensi. If Itachi fought the first and second edo tensi it would be very close fight. But Itachis Susanoos blade be enough.

#1 Oro never fought full power against Hiruzen.
#2 He did have use of his arms vs 4 tailed Naruto and it was the closest to full power we've seen of him.
#3 Obito didn't fear Itachi, per se, he just wasn't stupid. He knew Itachi was no joke. He is a tactition, not an idiot.
#4 I think Oro is cheap with all that regen white snake bs. He is a bad 1980's horror flick monster.

#1 yes he did edo tensi summoned that's going full power in my eyes, those probably take a lot of chakra seeing as their different from Kabutos.

Agreed, he is pretty much behind this 4th shinobi war ie giving rise to Kabuto which it seems like Oro was controlling him like the pawns Kabuto was playing with. He is the strong but for different reasons than the rest of the fighters his a scientist fighter earning him great respect in my book.

He defeated Hiruzen, took on Jiraiya and Tsunade without being able to use his arms, took on a 4 tailed naruto and survived and let's not forget he also defeated the 4th Kazekage (Gaara's dad). Yes I believe Orochimaru will be the final villain and not Madara. He's always been the villain in Naruto so I see him being the final villain as well. He is extremely underrated because he lost to the third, but even the third is extremely underrated. Orochimaru most likely knew 1000+ jutsu's all of immense caliber. He knows more about clans and villages than then anyone in the entire series, he has more intel on any clan as well due to all the tests he has carried out. He does not die and has amazing summonings which include Snakes and edo tensei. He would most likely have put up a much better fight against Itachi if he knew he had the totsuka sword and didn't expect it at all. Orochimaru is stronger than Jiraya and Tsunade and both are Kage level shinobi. He is a complete shinobi except for having uchiha eyes, which is why he needs them so badly. He does not die and can revive through curse marks once the user has depleted their chakra completely, he had a immense arsenal of jutsu's before he fought the third and still has one filled with kinjutsu, he can change bodies and most likely has many blood line limits due to all the tests he has done, he has great summonings and uses edo tensei, and finally he is the most knowledgeable shinobi in Naruto. If he gets a sharingan he would be to OP, and if anyone believes that he is not a complete shinobi then he is retarded. He is too underrated in my opinion.

Dude seriously he is going to be the X factor in the decision of winner or loser in the war thanks to him aiding Sasuke to find the one who knows all. He didn't lose to the 3rd the 3rd lost to him. The only reason people underrate him is because of him losing to Itachi so quickly and losing to Sasuke. When Sasuke attacked Oro when he wasnt excepting it, I think anyone would lose to a chidori to the heart while resting. A lot faster than Oro too I would say.

He only has one fight in the anime with full power vs the 3rd. He took on 4 tails Naruto with no arms! I think Oro is seriously underrated. He is an epic fighter / scientist. While he did lose to Itachi rather fast he just never dies and even Obito is afraid of Itachi! I don't think the fight would have ended at that one moment.

Agreed Oro has done so much for the story it's amazing. Then the legendary Uchiha gets revived and thats all people care about. His been close by almost every major battle and is a majorrrr cause of the 4th shinobi war.
