Could Itachi have taken on Hiruzen?

Way back when do you think Itachi could have taken on Hiruzen. He took out Oro easily around the same age

Itachi had access to susanoo and the coveted izanami. Hiruzen has a great weakness to genjutsu of this type. Itachi, if allowed, also has access to KA. With these tools, Itachi cannot lose against Hiruzen.

that wasn't a fight and that was a handicapped orochimaru who took desperate measures to get power, itachi just took advantage of the situation, now please lets not trun this into an oro vs itachi debate (i like both itachi and oro, actually i like itachi more). your question was can itachi take on hiruzen and my answer is still the same, itachi is not even close to hiruzen's level specially when you talk about hiruzen's prime (he would humiliate itachi sooooo bad in his prime)
