^^ during the fight between sasuke and the fourth raikage, this scan shows the difficulty sasuke was having to follow the fourth raikages movements, moment, later the raikage appears behind sasuke without sasuke even knowing, what does sasuke do?,he brings up amaterasu because he made a simple educated guess, a battle analyzation prediction you can say to where the fourth raikage may be moving to and it turns out he made the right choice by putting amaterasu on his sussano since he didnt know where the raikage may be.

How does this compare to bee? You see Bee sort of did the same thing sasuke did.

Above ^^ shows bee to some people countering minatos FTG, but i believe he did not counter it, he was acutally in a sasuke situation, the moment when minato vanished via FTG dodging raikages second attack, it was already obvious what was going through bees head when minato FTG, Where can minato be teleporting? Behind me?!?! infront of me!?!? without a second thought Bee used his ninja wits and since he couldnt follow nor see minato movements, he basically made a bet on his choice, which was to bet that minato would most likely FTG behind him. Quite similar to how sasuke basically covered his sussano in amaterasu because he couldn't follow the raikages movement.

More proof behind this is the fact that you can see a tiny sweat mark on bees face when minato appeared behind him.Let me tell you what that sweat ment, it holds more significance then it shows.

what bee was thinking when thinking when minato appeared behind him----->"PHEW looks like my hypothesis turned out to be correct on minato appearing behind me"

In no way shape or form did Bee counter FTG or kept up with it, he merely trusted his gut feeling and his ninja intent and hoped for the best, in the end he turned to be correct by BETTING minato may FTG behind him. This is all indicated by the sweat mark on his.

SUMMARY
Basically bee trusted his ninja gut and simply turned out to be correct when he made a gut guess on the situation amd went with it and turned out to be right. Sort of how sasuke couldnt keep track of A"s movement and covered his sussano is flames since he had no idea where the raikage would show up.

NOTE: IM NOT SAYING IM 100% CORRECT BUT I DO BELIEVE BEE SIMPLY MADE A BATTLE ANALYZATION IN THE CURRENT SITUATION AND ENDED UP BEING RIGHT, FEEL FREE TO ARGUE, STATE WHY IM WRONG, OR AGREE WITH ME

^^ anticipated how? The whole foundation on how bee did that was just like how sasuke was in his current situation with A, not exactly but very quite similar

'Ninja wits'... doesn't everyone use this to counter?

For the first scan Sasuke did not use his wits or anticipate anything at all. He completely covered Susanoo in Amaterasu flames to stop A from attacking him since he was going too fast.

lol99 said something similar, but was more talking about Bee's fighting style, his way of holding his blade. He usually hold it on the back and it's what saved him at that moment

Well Bee wasn't doing much, he could of been simply keeping track of all the markings, He could of noticed the one minato planted on him and made an assumtion that minato would go after him.

Bee has plenty of time to notice since he wasn't really under any pressure or anything.

If he could do that in an actual battle with minato where he has alot less time to Notice/analyze these small details is another question.

He didnt really counter it, in a means he stopped minato in his tracks from further proceeding but merely on a hypocritically guess

@danzo, sasuke knew himself that he couldnt keep up with the raikages speed, so he made the best choice of the situation by covering his sussano in flames since he didnt know where ghe raikage may end up

Getting inside your opponents head and anticipating the next move and follow up with a move of your own is the best definition of a counter I can think of.

Not really, like i said the sweat gland indicates he was somewhat unsure of his choice, also most of the time bee was paying attention to minato giving his parting words to the raikage

How did he get inside of minatos head? if he would had countered he would had made the whole FTG ineffective, yet minato still managed to get behind him
