Edo Jinchuriki's

Madara has stated then he needs to be a non edo to become a jinchuriki. Now, why is that statement odd. I dunno.

Lets just check back a couple of chapters.

A likely theory is that since they were actual Jins when they were alive, it's possible for them to become ones after being resurrected.

This... In life, they learned how to use the Bijuu, in death there were merely given the power to do so again. Remember those black pins... they were controlled and connected with the Gedo Mazo. In which the Bijuu were stored.

well DUH. everyone knows that.

a jinchuriki is someone with a bijuu sealed in their body. they aint jinchuriki anymore. their bijuus are sealed in that gedo mazo. so, they used to be jinchuriki, but now they're just edo-nins.
