No I did like it....by the end of the next chapter, Gai is whipping out the Gate of Death. Only part that was a tad cheesy was the OUR NEJI part....I have a feeling he'd just say Lee, Tenten.....Neji.

But is mostly my own view of what happens is a slight variation!

I still see Lee trying to go fight, and Gai shows up in the whole look you describe blocking a Juubi tail with one hand while Lee is on the ground. I see Gai saying something about how he lost Neji, and he will protect something precious to him now.

Also Hinata is one of my favorites do I just hope she doesn't just disappear for no reason....I was hoping she also started something up too XD!
