i would say madara is the strongest, but itachi was the greatest, if he wasnt sick and could have killed the uchiha and stayed in the leaf(with or without sasuke)he would have overshadowed madara. As a konoha shinobi itachi saved the village from the uchiha and kabuto, while madara tried to kill the first and now the world. Sasuke isnt a fail yet danzo and oro were both threats to konoha and while hes talked a good game he still hasnt attacked konoha, well he hasnt actually hurt any leaf ninja, depending on his mext move you can say whether he is a fail or not.imo

Tobi even respected Itachi, and Madara was his mentor. He defeated Edo Tensei, knew all Uchiha techniques, beat Kabuto... the list goes on. If he were not sick, not even his brother could kill him. Itachi would defeat Madara with Izanami, DUHHHH

I respect your opinion and all, but let's out the facts down. I love Itachi, and I like him way better than Madara... But look at it this way. Madara has EMS AND Rinnegan. He can pull two flipping meteors outta the sky with ease. His Susanoò is way, wayyyyy better than Itachi's. Except for Itachi's Totsuka Sword. Madara took out the Gokage, although it was Edo Tensei Madara. Itachi couldn't have done that, he was exhausted by only Sasuke, even thigh it's clear he could've beaten him. No chance that Itachi could've beaten Madara
