[Discussion] Naruto is Hinata's protector now (NaruXHina)

As is common knowledge now, Neji of the Konoha 11 has died saving Hinata and Naruto. What's interesting to note though is that Neji states that Naruto is now obligated to honor Neji and Hinata, but what is more is that Neji was the protector of the main house of the Hyuga clan, which Hinata is a part of.

How can Naruto honor Neji? Simply take upon his burden of protecting one of the main houses more important members, Hinata Hyuga.

I think this is important plot development for when Naruto chooses someone to live with for the rest of his years, especially when he becomes hokage.

This is of course assuming he lives through everything that happens later on. I think this makes sense, what do you think? :ice:

The Ultimate way to end Naruto is to have a Senju descendant (Naruto) or Senju Marry a Uchiha descendant (Hinata) or Uchiha. This will create a super shinobi that may rival the SO6P and perhaps lead to a continuation of the Naruto series. Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Naruto Hokage?

yes he will. But I hope he will not end up with her just because he feels responsible for nejis death. He should also love Hinata someday. Ah and I think Hinata's father will also die in the war so that Naruto feels anymore responsible for Hinata's protection..and after that Obito will do something to Hinata and naruto remembers Nejis last words about Hinata and Narutos live and then he freaks out and yeah saves her and raped Obito or hurt him at least a little

I don't like the way that you worded it, even though it's essentially correct. It's not about being obligated to honor someone's death. Someone else on the board pointed out that as a Will of Fire tradition, the most precious thing that one protects gets passed down. I don't know if there's a death requirement. It could happen on retirement from a position, teachers to students, etc. Naruto may have inherited Neji's Will of Fire which means his mission will be to protect Hinata. I might have the Will of Fire thing wrong because it's intended as a passing-down-the-generations thing. But there has been a pattern of passing one's wishes on to another which is consistent with the Will of Fire element.
