Yes I blame him! Because of his actions neji is dead! and I have a few reasons why


1. He is NARUTO, that is the first mistake. You would think after all of his battles that he would be a smarter fight. But he is still the same idiot when he was a kid. I'll give an example why he is still an idiot. Look on this page​

He just entered sage mode and he is already throwing chakra shuriken. Come now, you would think that he would know not to waste chakra with those. Where is he throwing them? At a bunch of sharp pointy superfast rocks, whatever they are I don't know.​

2. You mean to tell me he wasn't fast enough to dodge those rocks? Naruto is faster than the raikage, that's pretty fast. yet he had to use those shuriken to block some arrows, when he could have just dodged them, probably saving some people in the process.

So because of naruto's senseless use of chakra management, Hinata went to save her lover, and instead of her dying because of naruto's dumbness, Neji stepped in to save them both, because someone called him a genious..... Point being, if naruto didn't waste those shuriken

then neji would be alive​

Run around dodging them all? No, a significant amount of fodder would die.

I think Naruto did everything he could to save the most people possible. The OP thinks Naruto should dodge everything, saving only himself (And hence, Neji as well). That's not his character. Those rasenshuriken blasted through the mokuton spikes and then expanded, eating up a lot more of the spikes throughout its duration. And this was done 3 times, his limit.

I do not think this is wasted chakra because it is senjutsu chakra. Furthermore it did its purpose, which was to 1. Stall so Kurama can create more kyuubi chakra, and 2. Save fodder

naruto did that to protect as many shinobi from the wooden spikes coming towards everyone. Even the hyugga with their almost 360 deg defense couldn't stop them from hitting them.

So I'd look more into to it than what u mentioned. It wasn't a mere a chase of naruto solo vs juubi,madara and obtio. It was the whole alliance and he though the explosions from his wind Rasemgamns could wipe a lot of those sticks.

Btw goes to show how bs hasihrama mist have been with techs like that.
