Okay so alot of sasuke/rinnegan talks.
Hashi DNA for all and so on.

WELL. excuse me if this has been made but we all know Karin is an Uzumaki. Correct.
Her healing powers require the person to bite karins body..

My question is, is it possible to gain some form of DNA from her as you are biting/ constantly sucking that area? (like giving a love bite)

Sasuke has used Karin for this many times and if it were possible for him to obtain DNA from Karin surely he could achieve rinnegan without having to get specific hashi cells or going to Kabuto/Oro.

I dont know, i may be missing points but its a quick idea as i have to run to the shops.

Does that mean Uzumaki DNA will work on Sasuke to get Rinnegan? Nagato should use the Rinnegan with many years training because he is related to the Senju clan, but that does not mean you can use Uzumaki DNA to get the Rinnegan you know.

they say that uzamaki are distant relatives of senju so its possible. it could go either way.

In theory yes....the Uzumaki share distant blood ties with the Senju so theoretically one could take Uzumaki DNA and get the Rinnegan.


Now the question is does the bites actually tranfer the DNA: probably not

The bite marks are only skin deep meaning he doesn't even draw blood...I doubt just a biting of skin opens up DNA to an individual.


Also, Madara mentioned that it took a long time after implanting the DNA for him to even get the Rinnegan...thst could explain why Sasuke doesn't have it....but I personally don't think he will take it....he has too much or that Uchiha Pride

According to real-world biology: No.

Even if you were to inject cells directly into your blood stream or a solution of reduced cell nuclei, you would not "obtain" another person's DNA. A full explanation of how DNA works is well beyond the scope of this discussion (and something we are continually learning more about) - but it basically boils down to your DNA being rather well guarded and being rather touchy about having other segments of code slipped in with it.

It can be done, in the case of retroviruses that literally add their genetic code to our own (evidence of these having infected a common ancestor before being suppressed by mutations in other parts of our code exists). But not without first engineering a retrovirus to handle the splicing.

In theory, if we're talking genetic engineering beyond our current ability, you could engineer a line of individuals who would maintain a population of retroviruses in their blood stream designed to insert genetic code into other human beings. Though what purpose that would serve (aside from adding a science-fiction basis to vampire and zombie plots), I don't know.

But, no, from drinking someone's blood, you're not going to get their DNA.

Honestly, I don't think Sasuke will end up with the Rinnegan. I don't think Naruto will end up with the Rinnegan.

And I simply hope that lame plot mechanics are avoided on the part of Kishimoto. This has already started to reach DBZ proportions, the least he can do is give us an interesting story, rather than: "Ha, now I got the rinnegan and will simply overpower you!"
