A thought on Edo Nagato

Do you feel that the storyline was necessary to have Edo Itachi seal away Edo Nagato?

I mean, had Edo Nagato had the level of strength in countering the control Kabuto had on him the way Itachi did, I would have loved to see the first Rinnegan bearer (as in, he was the first to be seen with the Rinnegan. Also, that he has yet to be shown to having that monster Madara "transplant" in him further supports my theory that Nagato was born with the Rinnegan without Madara having done any transplanting which would say Madara was lying about such. I also feel that Nagato activated his Rinnegan by natural skill vs. Madara getting his by him injecting the Senju DNA)

Dude, Madara gave him the Rinnegan, there's no doubt about that. Still, I agree, I would have loved to see him in action more :y Still, I don't think he would have been able to counter Kabuto's control though

What? He totally RAPED BM Naruto and Killer Bee in 2vs1. He captured the two strongest Jinchuriki´s in just a few seconds and would have killed them without Itachi saving them.

Thats more OP than anything that Edo Madara showed till now because if I remember right he still didnt manage to capture Naruto in over 10 chapters.

And Itachi was just the worst matchup for him. He´s invincible with Yata Mirror, got the best sealing weapon in the Narutoverse (Totsuka Sword), is the king of illusions and also very smart. Not a head-first type like Naruto or (to a lesser extent) Bee.

The removal of Nagato from the bigger picture was more than necessary; especially as an Edo. We can't have evil pseudo Rikudōs running around...

Yeah it would of been cool for nagato to break edo tensei and join the fight along with naruto and Co. Like Madara vs Nagato. That would be sick!

Pff. did you even understand how, and more importantly why Itachi "countered" Kabutos control? Well obviously you didn't, cause Itachi never countered Kabutos, he was controlled by shisuis KA, and not himself. It is very obvious in the way he moves, talks, etc.. Like when he tells Sasuke "I can't stop", or when he stops potential "killing" moves towards Kabuto, which wouldn't kill him. So no, Nagato could in no possible way get out of the control in the same way U_U pointless thread is pointless.

Edo Nagato put an end to the war in 2 seconds. The last two Jins got owned, Kabuto screwed over Nagato by fully controlling him because that took away from his Sensing abilities, he knew Itachi was going to use Amaterasu, but he couldn't control himself to avoid it.

What was it that Madara had that he was able to counter Kabuto's control better than Nagato?

• Two Rinnegan user is more than enough.
• There's a limit to having too many OP Edo's in a war.
• He's been trolled too much. It's likely that he'll be trolled even more if he wasn't sealed.

Fun fact: Edo Nagato is the only character with the capability of destroying the entire universe.

(Edos have infinite chakra, konan has said that the more chakra nagato uses, the bigger the chibaku tensei/shinra tensei, Therefore, Nagato could create a infinitly large chibaku tensei, or shinra tensei)
