[Discussion] What appeals to you in Anime?

Before reading I just read this and I find this laughable -

Simply put. For me personally anime got me into being an artist and ever since I been drawing different styles and different aspects of anime each and everyday. Pretty much everyone knows that we all view things differently. And it's alright. We can value the appeal when it comes to anime. Even though I'm not a fanatic i still view myself as a decent viewer. I don't mind sharing thoughts and ideas. What weird is I tend to watch the anime first before I read the manga.

So what do you like most about Anime in general. Give me the most best answer and keep it frank. If you want to explain it in better detail than go ahead!

i like quality picture, and if the anime is about ninjas you best belief you ninja better be agile and have good physical combat fights. which the naruto anime has none.

Anime in general? Nothing, because every anime is different. I'll just talk about a few anime/manga.

About Soul Eater: I love the theme of Soul Eater and the artstyle. It's amazing and I truly love it. The characters are so different and unique. It's my favorite manga for a reason.

About Naruto: The emotional attachment Naruto brings with it is truly something special. The world itself in Naruto, especially in Soul Eater, are very interesting too. Storylines to both are something that draws me in.

Most of the anime I watch have these themes

I like the stories/plots, I like Japanese voices, they are epic...etc.

Nothing appeals me to anime any more.

Usually epic stories and battles, with the occasional humor sprinkled in.

great story lines of course. japanese voice actors are also great that's why i prefer subbed instead of dubbed.
