Lightning has the upper hand in the fight against gaaras infinity Sasuke has proven to penetrate gaara's so called ultimate defense with his chidori, we also seen 5 attacks come all at the same time to sasukes susanno one of them being garras attack not even 3rd raikage could break through it and hurt sasuke and that was far from a complete susanoo, Amaterasu burns and keeps burning it can burn through his defense time and time again and with sasuke having EMS he can keep using it without the side affects, People say Naruto and sasuke are even strength well guess who beat gaara? Naruto did yes abc logic again I don't know why u can sit there and believe the rubbish ur speaking Gaara isn't as strong as u think he is he has alot of flaws to many ppl have penetrated his defense, Kirin and its game over gaara could only *try* shielding him self from that.

Unlike most techiniques, which are based on a users chakra, this uses natural lightning which Zetsu says reaches the ground in 1/1000th of a second. Gl shielding that gaaras defense slower then lee, lee couldnt out run this simple logic as to what would happen.

While i remain unsure if Sasuke wins this match-up and I am more leaning towards Gaara, to say Gaara can block Kirin is false. Kirin has too many attributes.

okay,i'l say this once,sasuke make clouds by heating up the atmosphere,the water vapour in the air evaporates upon being heated and forms clouds,in a dessert,there is no wter vapour, a dessert is the driest place you can be,sasuke can shoot all the fireballs n the world and it wont do anything,why?,cuz there is no water to heat up to form clouds,hence kirin is inable to take place. Itachi survived with incomplete susanoo,kirin is overrated.

Before you all say EMS Sasuke wins I'd like to point out that Gaara can control all the sand he wants, he can control the ground, he can fly, he can sink Sasuke in the sand, he can shoot sand bullets, he can control the desert itself, he can use sand armour and his perfect defence.

2 things. Your right he can't use kirin here, but your wrong about why.

I'll Explain why Sasuke could still prep a kirin here then tell you why it wont work.

First of all, Gaara can't extinguish Amaterasu. It burns for 7 days and Nights and the only way to extinguish the flames is by the doing via MS. Second, Sasuke is capable of setting up Kirin with the simple use of Great Dragon Flame, the simple use of that causes updraught as stated in the databook. BUT, while this is kirin it would be nothing noteworthy, More heat creates a stronger kirin. Agreed?

This is proved by Sasuke banking on Kirin when he didn't even know about itachi having Amaterasu or Susanoo. He was counting on the speed of the Kirin he could create by himself to kill a Susanoo-less Itachi, He simply took advantage of Amaterasu after Itachi used it to create a stronger Kirin.

Now, Gaara would be able to stop Great Dragon Flame in the Desert if he already has sand above Sasuke and Has Taken to the Skies. Otherwise Nothing is stopping Sasuke from Prepping a Kirin Theoretically.



BUT, Sasuke cannot use Kirin here simply due to location. The Desert is a very dry land and is already a very hot place on its own. Theres no humidity in the air or any moisture. Which in turn, means no updraught.
