And how it should be too. It is a war and it is not always glamorous or has a build up. The biggest complaint people have been saying about this arc is that it isn't costly enough to feel like a war. I'm not saying a bunch of people should just get killed off abruptly but it defiantly makes the arc feel more legit

I had a feeling he wouldnt make it in the war, too much bs was going on with neji, kishi was hinting towards it.

Neji running out of chakra fightning the zetsu
Zetsu turning into Neji to attack Sakura's campsite
Then having the rotation convienintly be extremely helpful against the Bijuu's hands.

It was all a matter of time before Kishi took the final step in killing off Neji
