Hiruzen was the longest reigning hokage that konoha ever had.. He gave his position to minato because minato was capable of filling the position. I dont think you are suppose to have it until you die. That just how ifs been turning out. Tobirama named hiruzen his successor before he died. And p.s hiruzen was 69.. almost 70 year old and defeated a sannin and 2 previous hokage in thier prime..smh

In this case capable means stronger. But if u think he is stronger, explain how can H. defeat Minato?
He defeated Orochimaru? When? As I remember he took only his arms.
He defeated 2 Hokage? He just sealed them with and extremely high level technique.

This wasn't a true victory.

There ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu are all supperior to hashirama's. Prime hiruzen clones would give hashirama HELL!!!.. especially if they have enma.. how can hashirama respond after getting caught by shadow possesion jutsu, mind transfer jutsu, or hiruzen unlocking his 7th gate and wreaking havoc on hashirama. He cant respond.

Wasn't that considered somewhat unreliable since it said by Iruka. Because if you idolize your hokage you're sort of gonna say that they are the best. Same for other villages.

He woke up, yes, but do you recognize how long it took him to get up? Oh wait, he didn't even get up, he had to use jinton. That's more than enough time for himself to get impaled by mokuton clone jutsu.

It took EMS Madara to see through it, and only he has been stated to be able to do this, meaning Hiruzen can't see through it. They're referring to EMS, the dojutsu, which Hiruzen just doesn't have. So he doesn't see through it, and he gets impaled. Simple as that.

Enma is a summon, there's only one of him. Five of Hiruzen get taken out by flower power jutsu, that's just a waste of Hiruzen's chakra.

1B. Hiruzen isnt oonoki, he might not even be effected by flower pollen.. He can easily evade it by using enma to lift him above the flower.

2B. Did you forget where i said hiruzen can sense peoples location.. And madara doesnt know what hiruzen was capable of, because he never have seen him in battle.. Prime hiruzen was called a god, being able to do anything he wanted.. you are underating him tooo much.. Hiruzen in his prime is faster, stronger and keener than hashirama. Hiruzen is also better than hash in ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, and was said to have chakra on monsterous levels.. Having chakra that was so powerful that when he released it the atmosphere around him got heavier and the building cracked around him..

Yes, he will be affected by the pollen of the flower. It's a forest that's created near instantaneously (or instantaneously if you go by Tsunade's hyperbole), so I doubt Enma would be able to transform into the adamantine staff in time. Heck, who said Enma would even be summoned at this point? It's all your assumption.

Hiruzen was never famed for his sensing. Tobirama, however, he could detect the presence and number of enemy shinobi by simply touching the ground with his index finger:

So what you're saying is invalid. A better sensor than Hiruzen was never stated to be able to see through it (if Hiruzen even was a sensor in the first place), so Hiruzen still gets impaled and dies.

Those are your assumptions. Hashirama's might was so vast that his power was considered a myth, just as the SO6P. I don't remember Hiruzen ever being stated as comparable to the SO6P. If so, please do tell me.
