It's interesting to note how strong the Hyuga are, and that Kishi still thinks so too!

I know alot of people have been reaffirming what the manga said a while ago, so I thought I would reignite those threads with even better and direct proof.

On the other hand, I do think the Hyuga's eyes do see more than the Sharingan because they cannot see chakra as fine as the Byakugan.

And if you think about it, no one in the entire leaf can masterfully and beautifully control/manipulate chakra as good as the Hyuga and then put into practice in life/death situations.

No. If you genuinely think that the Hyuga are the strongest of the leaf you're deluded. The people saying that they're the strongest probably don't even know what a Mangekyo is - never mind the EMS or the Rinnegan for that matter. It's just an ignorant claim from a biased point of view. I'd love to see the entire Hyuga clan dance against Edo Madara. That'd be a sight to see. The strongest? Haha.

The Hyugas are strong, but they don't compare to level of power the Uchiha Clan posses....most of the people in Konoha don't even know about the MS so i don't expect them to know about the EMS or Rinnegan.

Hyugas are the strongest clan in the village, that I'd probably agree with.

However is because of their hype? I'd like to see a battle between the clans, Nara vs Hyuga, or Aburame vs Hyuga.

My opinion, the Nara clan would own the Hyugas with Shikaku at their helm, and we don't know much about the Aburama but their techniques are long ranged vs the hyuga short ranged kinda gives the Aburama clan an advantage.

Also I'm pretty sure their just boosting on their own hype, since their they only clan left with a kekkei genkai, and not just a special technique like the Naru or Aburama which I suspect can copied. So they've become famous, because their abilities are impossible to copy, well at least the abilities tied to byakugan, I think the gentle fist can be copied but its useless without the byakugan.

Thanks to pepople like Itach, Sasuke, Obito, etc, the Uchiha were the strongest in the leaf. But if you think about it, these were exceptional cases. Normally, Uchihas would have a 3 tomoe sharingan and thats it.
If you remove the anomaly, then Hyuuga are kinda the strongest

they're the strongest survivng clan (plural) of Konoha by default thanks to the fact that the Uchiha & Senju clan are no more. But they aren't the strongest shinobi (singular) especially now that Sasuke is back in the fold
